Joe Crede seems to be the most inconsistent player on this team. He'll have a few games where he can get a couple hits together. But, then he'll have several where he just isn't seeing pitches. Crede needs to get into the batting cages and get some major work done, or he'll end up just like Rowand was in the first part of last year (Rowand was hitting near the Heather Line--Baggio's term for someone hitting around .125--during the first portion of last year before being sent down to the minors), or he'll never be able to get above the Mendoza Line. I hope this won't be a reocurring theme this season, because we need for Crede to be soxessful here!

I'm still convinced that Carlos would win in a cage match against Buehrle...

Buehrle has had a shaky start to say the least over the past couple of years. But, looking back to last year, he really turned it up later on in the season, and he will do the same thing THIS season. I will wait to panic unless it's August and he only has 3-5 wins...Not gonna happen. Let's not hyperventalate over one bad start.

Ok, the ump behind home plate has had a WAAAAAAAY raunchy strike zone tonight...He's missed SEVERAL 3rd strikes on the Yankees and called balls strikes for our Sox...I hope the tape of THIS game goes to Bud Selig and he deals with it appropriately... The Sox don't put all of their tickets on Ticketmaster. They leave some for walk-up; so, if you get to the ballpark early enough, you shouldn't have a problem knabbing some tickets for yourself and whomever you're going with.
