Sox acquire Kean Wong
Per sources. Likely headed to Charlotte so feel free to move to minors board. Surely the savior. Has raked at AAA Tacoma this season tho.

Remillard promoted; Moncada hurt?
Don't disagree, just moreso meant giving an org guy like Remillard his big moment would have some sense when he was hitting. Regardless, I would imagine Burger is playing 3B nearly everyday until Yoan is back.

Remillard promoted; Moncada hurt?
Remillard would have made more sense a 4-6 weeks ago. He's been awful for well over a month, dropping his OPS below .700 in a hitter's paradise. Doubt he plays much, tho.

June 14 Sox @ Dodgers
That’s a quality W after the bottom of the 6th.

Athletic fired Fegan in Jun23, now hired with Sox Machine
He actually got fired because the athletic laid off a ton a writers. I don't think the Sox have anything to do with it. Still an absolutely brutal decision, and I snap cancelled my sub.

Moncada 2023 Edition
There is nothing wrong with Yoan being a 1.5-2 WAR player with upside for more. He’s absolutely overpaid, but that’s frankly irrelevant. He’s the best 3B option on the team.
-
Moncada 2023 Edition
You can’t trade him. People need to stop suggesting to trade Moncada. He’s not tradable.

Sox @ Tigers 12:40
The Burger luster is wearing quickly.

5/24 Sox @ Guardians 12:10PM
Kopech to bullpen folks looking pretty silly right about now.

Trading One Year Assets is Inevitable. Maybe even 2-yr
If Joe Kelly keeps pitching like he has, he’s going to bring a very nice return if Sox are sellers. I think Sox would need to be >7 GB in late July for this FO to sell. Not saying I agree with that, but don’t see them admitting failure and cutting bait unless they have no other option.

Clevinger to IL
The most innings he has thrown in a season since presumably high school is 65. He's never thrown anything close to a major league SP workload. He hasn't pitching competitively in almost 2 years. To expect him to suddenly throw 90 innings coming off TJS, and then more next season, without blowing out his arm again is insane. He's a reliever, and frankly, always has been.

Clevinger to IL
His chances of being a SP are already long gone.

I am thinking Jimmy for 2, Scholtens for 4 is the plan for night.

Sox @ Rays: 540CT - Kopech vs. Faucher: The Turnaround Starts Now
Hey, at least the Twins are terrible too. Down 4 rip to the lowly Nats and about to lose their 6th out of 7.
-
Sox @ Rays: 540CT - Kopech vs. Faucher: The Turnaround Starts Now
They fought today. Down 4-0 in the first to a 16-3 team and fight back. It was encouraging. Awful 9th. Sorry that offends you.

Sox @ Rays: 540CT - Kopech vs. Faucher: The Turnaround Starts Now
Man oh man is that crippling. Once Diaz got the hit I knew it was over. Sox battled today; felt like a legitimate turning point at times. Hurts

Sox @ Rays: 540CT - Kopech vs. Faucher: The Turnaround Starts Now
He’s deep in one right now. It’s been Roberts career to this point. 125 wRC+ while looking like he has no idea how to hit major league pitching 75% of that time. That’s what makes him so ta tantalizing

Sox @ Rays: 540CT - Kopech vs. Faucher: The Turnaround Starts Now
Let’s win this fucking game

Moncada actually dealing with a back issue.
He was a kid. Men fill out. He’s far from chubby.
