Before I had heart surgery a few years ago, me and my friends went downtown to hang out before I left for the operation. This was when I lived on Taylor and went to UIC. It was a group of like 15 and we went to Little Joe's for their karaoke night and everyone is having a good time. While I was getting a drink, my friend taps me on the shoulder and ask if it's cool if one of his friends from home can come out and I said sure. I expected it to be one of his guy friends but in walks his friend Hannah, who everyone knew I had a huge thing for, including her. While I'm far from being a social butterfly and not very sociable, I have no problem engaging with people but whenever I was around Hannah, I couldn't even open my mouth and when I did, I would say something that usually made no sense, before running away. I get my drink, get far away and wait my turn for the microphone. I guessed she noticed that I was avoiding her and she comes up and tells me that she heard about the operation and we strike up a conversation. I told her that I'm going to do a song and she says that she wants to sign up. She gives me her drink to to hold and tells the DJ what song she wants to do. It's my turn and I do Prince's Kiss. I see she's up next, so I give her the microphone and she looks at me funny. Her music starts playing and it's Little Red Corvette. Our conversation wasn't going anywhere before that but after that coincidence, me and her talked the whole night and exchanged numbers. We talked nonstop and about a month later she asked me out and we've been together since. So I guess I have Prince to thank for that. Prince was my one of my first concerts. He played during my first dance at wedding. And my mom and sisters, who are all lifelong dancers would take out a record player, throw on some Prince and dance through our house. I was even Prince for Halloween last year. Needless to say, I was pretty devastated by the news of Prince's death. Him and his music have always been a constant in my life. RIP Your Badness.

The Sox are dead last in walks with 28 (prior to today's game). The Cubs are first with 70. -

The game is over guys, Sale got what he needs. We can all go home. -
This is the trailer to the upcoming Magnificent Seven film. It stars Denzel Washington and Chris Pratt. Directed by Antoine Fuquam who did Training Day and Southpaw. Do I think it looks better than Seven Samurai? Absolutely not. I do think it looks better than the original Magnificent Seven and anytime Washington and Fuqua do a movie together it turn out to be pretty good. Good to see a resurgence of westerns.

On my Mac desktop, I have about a month's worth of music. I don't know how much space that is. I don't have any music saved onto my iPhone or laptop, I use Apple Music. And yes, I'm a Apple whore.

20 Players Who Could Be Dealt At Deadline (MLB.com)

QUOTE (raBBit @ Apr 20, 2016 -> 08:20 AM) Nationals have the best record in baseball (I think?) and they're going to trade Strasburg? Okay. In Duquette's defense he did say that they should consider it, if they are not in contention. Which makes a lot of sense because he is a free agent after the season, his agent is Scott Boras and they could get a big return for him, rather than an extra draft pick. -
20 Players Who Could Be Dealt At Deadline (MLB.com)

The name that baffled me the most was Jorge Soler, especially since this article was written after the Schwarber injury. The Cubs are in no position to trade Soler, although they do have guys who can hold down the outfield in Baez and Zobrist. If the Soler (who I am really high on) plays well, they could consider moving Schwarber because his defense is a liability and he looks like he should be a DH. Anyways, the article did come way too soon but it's something to talk about and you can always talk about baseball. -
http://m.mlb.com/news/article/172149754/ml...-could-be-dealt A list of 20 players who could be dealt towards the deadline. Some of the usual suspects are on there, like your Bruce and Cargo but Duquette also list Stephen Strasburg as someone who could be dealt. While I am warming up to the idea of CarGo playing for the Sox, I really would like to see the Sox go after McGee. I think the team could use another power arm to pair with Jones, preferably a lefty power arm out of the pen. Who would you like to see the Sox go after?

Watching the game right now and damn Avi. He does himself no favors at the plate.

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Apr 18, 2016 -> 10:25 PM) I like JB but he doesn't have a hit and had a real bad misplay in LF. I don"t think he being in Charlotte is going to cost the Sox a shot at the playoffs. Right there with you. I am going to guess that Ynoa gets the call.

There's almost no caparison between Fraizer and Dunn/LaRoche/Thome.

QUOTE (gosoxgo2005 @ Apr 16, 2016 -> 12:52 PM) In April 2015 I specifically remember Eaton misplaying about 5 balls terribly in CF. After that he was money. I have no data to back me up, but I'd be willing to guess if you took away April last year, Eaton was more than adequate in CF. he just started the season in a slump in all facets. People who call him a bad defensive outfielder can't use their eyes to assess a baseball player. I think he's a pretty good CF, I agree with you that people blew his first month of the season last year out of proportion. I think the problem last year was the defense in the corners.

QUOTE (Joshua Strong @ Apr 14, 2016 -> 02:56 PM) Jason Groome's high school career is over. He has been suspended for the season for an improper transfer and will not pitch again for his high school team. I do not think this will hurt his draft stock There's been a change of heart. Philip Anastasia: NJSIAA spokesman said Jason Groome can return May 1 or his team's 12th game, whichever comes first. So he'll likely miss two starts

I think Senzel is being overrated and overhyped by publications

QUOTE (Brian @ Apr 12, 2016 -> 11:19 PM) Outside of Cowboys and Aliens, Favreau has been pretty much money his whole career behind the camera. I think Iron Man 2 is terrible and although I like Chef, I forgot about it until just now when I looked up his filmography on IMDB. I was terrified when I read that he was the fallback for Star Wars if Abrams passed on it again.

Showrunner, Sam Esmail will direct every episode of the second season of Mr. Robot.

One of my favorite superheroes, so I'm really exited for this but damn the trailer makes the movie look like a highlight reel of Batman Begins, Interstellar and Inception. Marvel has been describing this as a combo of Kubrick, Mayazaki and the Matrix for a long time and didn't get that vibe at all but my hopes are still high.
