Spitballing here, but I wonder if a 3 team with a team that needs pitching prospects (ala the Cubs) and Sale going to Atlanta would work for the Sox to get position players.

I would also like to see Liriano stick around, especially in a rebuild. If it clicks for him, that is an exciting break for the Sox.

Doing nothing again would be a colossal disaster for this franchise. I really, really hope they have a date in mind that they need to choose a direction.
