  1. How much longer are we gonna fall for this? He's streaky but he always ends the season with pretty similar numbers.
  2. That may be true, but regardless, I trust that table over a 27 AB sample

  4. I would've liked to see Jose Rondon bat there
  5. There's not a single thing Engel does better than Tilson. Easy answer for me.
  6. I believe Basto got released yesterday and the roster just hasn't updated
  7. Perhaps- I've always thought he's better as a 2B/SS though
  8. But overall, they were a better team once we sold everyone off. Not just Q, but the bullpen and Melky as well.
  9. I'm willing to listen, and Moncada is underperforming, but that doesn't mean he's a bust or that the trade won't work out. To the Herrera trade, it "seems" mediocre because of Herrera's name value, but in reality he is only under control for three more months. None of the guys they got back have a high ceiling, aside from maybe the third baseman they got (Gutierrez, I think), but it doesn't seem too bad to me considering what they gave up.
  10. Me too. His walks are way down, but so are his strikeouts. In this reliever market, nobody is getting a Clint Frazier for Andrew Miller type of haul
  11. I know you love false equivalences, but it's been made clear that you don't want to understand others' points of view, so there's no point in giving you an actual response
  12. Expected given just 3 months of control + the market
  13. Nice to see Josue Guerrero back
  14. Where were you when Moncada had a .877 OPS at the start of May? All the other prospects who come up and set the world on fire (as Moncada did in April) fall off pretty hard. Ozzie Albies, who has been just as bad, if not worse, than Moncada over the last month, is a great example of this.
  15. Personally I think they just want them to each get regular playing time, and Zavala is older and perhaps slightly better defensively. I have no doubt that Collins' bat is MLB ready but his defense needs work still
  16. I think it's a good thing for him. AA competition is harder anyway, and now he can actually catch and work on his defense rather than DH half of the time.
  17. At this point I'm convinced that a lot of this is just trolling. Especially the crazy trade proposals and general consensus that the White Sox would accept the deals
  18. Yup. Last year, the White Sox played better baseball after Quintana, Melky, the entire bullpen, etc. were traded.
