Fire Grifol and Hahn
This organization clearly has a systemic problem. The under performing doesn’t even stop at the MLB level, our minor league system can’t develop a decent prospect either. I can’t begin to guess what the problem could be, but it’s clearly beyond firing 1 or 2 people. The entire organization needs a cleansing top to bottom.

Liam Hendriks placed on the 15 day IL List - Right Elbow Inflamation
Sucks for Liam and everything he’s been through…but damn was it a gigantic mistake to not capitalize on his trade value last year.

Athletic fired Fegan in Jun23, now hired with Sox Machine
The athletic laid 20 people off at the same time, highly doubt it had anything to do with that very non offensive tweet. Most likely has to do with being the beat writer for a perennial bad team that is losing whatever fan base it has by the day.

Rick Hahn says Chicago White Sox are NOT SELLING...yet | CHGO White Sox Podcast
Don’t get me wrong, it needs to happen…but whatever we have to sell isn’t going to turn this franchise around. Cease is about the only guy I can see netting us any kind of significant prospect. Sadly the only turn around for the Sox is probably tank mode for 3-4 years at least. It’s not like they can clear the cap and then sign big free agents, we all know that isn’t happening until Jerry is gone. Plus, just the idea of Hahn starting another rebuild is crazy. Trade whoever you can that isn’t under contract next year and then let a new front office (KW must go too) make the decisions on the rest in the off-season.

And That's a White Sox Sweep !!
That’s probably going to be the painful part of this season. No team in the Central is good enough to pull away so come trade deadline we could be looking at another scenario where the front office is between buying and selling and does nothing instead because the team is “in contention”.

Trading One Year Assets is Inevitable. Maybe even 2-yr
Sure…but the point I’m making is that it changes nothing. We aren’t going to sign big free agents regardless, nor is the team in a position to sign veterans at this point. With the lack of viable talent in the organization worrying about the payroll is like worrying about a scratch on a car that has a blown engine. The payroll will be reduced naturally just because the team needs to be blown up and rebuilt, AGAIN.

Trading One Year Assets is Inevitable. Maybe even 2-yr
Does the payroll aspect of it even matter? This team isn’t signing major difference making free agents while Jerry is still alive so I’m not worried about saving payroll. Obviously this team is going nowhere and needs young assets though, so that should be the sole focus.

Garrett Crochet called up
Not going to help anything, let the kid develop and get stronger in the minors for at least another couple of months.

Garfein: Tim Anderson hates pitch clock, not Chicago
I think I’d be more concerned if he was happy here. This organization is a dumpster fire. Not saying Tim is completely resolved of any blame, but I don’t see how any player could/should be happy playing for the Sox.

Nightengale: Gio won't be on 2024 White Sox
I’m sure announcing this to the world in early May is a wonderful negotiation tactic…

Hahn has to be gone after that botched rundown
There’s a long list of things Hahn should be fired for, but this is a ridiculous overreaction…even for this board.

White Sox at Rays, 4/22/23, 3:05 pm, Fox TV.
Feels like you could give this team 100 tries and they couldn’t score a runner from 2nd in an important situation. And I could see not wanting to bunt the heart of the order, but we have our worst 3 hitters up and you’re going to rely on a hit to score?

Phillies at White Sox GM 2 Thread of Doom (Giolito vs. Falter)
That ball looked like it was knocked back by the wind 20 feet

Phillies at White Sox GM 2 Thread of Doom (Giolito vs. Falter)
Sadly still a better option than Romy or Sosa right now

Phillies at White Sox GM 2 Thread of Doom (Giolito vs. Falter)
Getting picked off because you’re blowing on your hands to keep warm is a new level of dumb I didn’t think I’d see. This team never ceases to amaze

The Pedro Hire
Everyone acknowledges how bad of a GM Hahn is an injury prone the players are…and then those things come to fruition and now it’s the managers fault? Not sure what moves any manager could make that would turn this team around with the present roster and injuries.

4-16 GT: Orioles at Sox (1:10pm) - Delayed til 3:30
Crap, didn’t listen to myself

4-16 GT: Orioles at Sox (1:10pm) - Delayed til 3:30
He pitched yesterday, asking him to go 2 probably not realistic

4-16 GT: Orioles at Sox (1:10pm) - Delayed til 3:30
I think the Bummer experience is over. He looks nowhere near as electric as he did 2-3 years ago.

4-16 GT: Orioles at Sox (1:10pm) - Delayed til 3:30
Sad to say…put Baltimore’s betting line being + $ right now is very tempting. I have 0 faith in our bullpen

4-16 GT: Orioles at Sox (1:10pm) - Delayed til 3:30
I would have pulled Cease…but not sure I can kill Pedro for the decision based on how bad the middle of this pen is

4-16 GT: Orioles at Sox (1:10pm) - Delayed til 3:30
Should have just started the inning with a reliever.
-
4-16 GT: Orioles at Sox (1:10pm) - Delayed til 3:30
Need runs. Trying to get 4 clean out innings out of this bullpen is asking for a miracle

4-16 GT: Orioles at Sox (1:10pm) - Delayed til 3:30
I don’t live close to Chicago…what’s the prognosis of if/when the game will start?
