Well... yikes... However 1. I was very concerned when he was throwing 93-94... now there is a reason why - so that's actually a relief (and not his actual velo) 2. We ain't even trying to win until at least 2020... so he can still be a part of the mix then.

Well.... they were playing well before abreu got hurt.. so I'm not sure there is much connection. plus - need a lot bigger sample size then 2 weeks.

WTF... Commonly in the carribean there is racism - because some islands and some people from those islands are darker skinned/have more African descent. I remember reading about how some in the DR did not want Haitian immigrants coming into country - for reasons you can guess. Weird stuff on this thread.... or just trolling... trolling I hope!

I'll take Hawk over Jason 365 out of 365.

giolito 7/10 starts have been quality starts.

Uhh I think you must be looking at the radar and assuming its moving east... Looks pretty sketchy to me.

Yeah the hustle rule is kind of a joke.. I like the concept, but in practice makes no sense. I saw about 10 instances last night where guys were not running nearly as hard as they could have.. and the plays were much more beatable than Avi's meaningless pop out. But the real issue is the in game strategy - even though managers don't mean that much, he hurts the team on a regular basis with fast pitch softball tactics.

soon as Jason called Omar a tough out he was finitio

Need to start muting the games when I watch them.

I've seen them do it many many times.. many more than two. Renteria makes Ventura look like Tony Larussa

So now does Avi get to sit down and talk to Ricki about dumb managing? Seems fair.

Yeah,,, he is young.. can run... swing looks pretty. But I doesn't really look like he can hit MLB pitching at the moment. There is still hope.. but I just don't see it. This looks like a pretty bad swing and miss by Hahn and the boys... Hope to hell im eating crow on this...

231 avg and 750 ops during that span... not as bad as know I guess...

627 career AB's for Moncada and 780 for Davidson... Yeah I hope it's a maturity thing. I don't really believe Davidson is better than Moncada.. but they both look so terrible in similar ways. I'm not giving up on Moncada.. but there seems to be zero growth from last year to this point. That's very troubling.

Davidson 1.0 War 770 OPS Moncada 1.5 war 695 OPS I realize Moncada has much more potential because of his athleticism.. but yeah.. it's not as dumb a question as it should be.

Who is better Matt Davison or Yoan Moncada?

None of them really have enough AB's to know much - however Palka appears to have the greatest upside. Davidson has had more AB's... not saying he has had enough to know.

Wake the fuck up Yoan

bennetti with jinx number 571 of his early/annoying career. Right before the 3/2 count.. "Lopez has never walked a KC batter!"

yolmer sanchez....not the building block of the future... don't see it at all.

I love the trying to steal on perez against a pitcher who is tied for the MLB in HR's given up. That is genius coach/player strategy.

It will all be fine.

Leury needs to play every day.

anderson hits into a lot of double plays.

Love the Bennetti patented jinx about quality start "dispenser" as the ball gets launched over the wall.
