Ricky it much much much worse... only thing he does that's any good strat wise is let his hitters 3-0. He reeks of incompetence in all else.

Ricky isn't the man for if/when we are for real.

RR likes to bunt.

Ricky makes Robin look like Tony Larussa

Welp... the useless bunting manager strikes again.. But the real factor was the horrible AB's our batters had today.. no patience or plan. Yolmer missing an easy out at home. Looked like a team that knows it not supposed to win.

God I hope not... nice guy.. but he really has no clue.

Chris Beck has one purpose - to lose games... there is no other purpose for him in the majors.

Well long way to go on the rebuild... One thing is fairly certain - we are going to be horrible this year. After that nothing is certain.

No such thing as a "can"t miss prospect" Giving a bunch of hyped prospects that turned out well does not disprove that... It's early on Moncada for sure.. but he sure looks like he has a real inability to hit an offspeed pitch.

QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 14, 2018 -> 12:39 PM) True, you'd think they'd have a retractable roof at least. Don't know about cost issues at the time with them but the people spoke. They wanted outdoor baseball and who can blame them? I would never want to go to a game indoors but I would accept it if I had to on a day they'd close the roof. Ehh I guess since baseball in the summer.. But have you been to the Viking football stadium? Honestly sometimes indoors can be just fine...

Why the Twins chose to have an outdoor only stadium seems like a pretty head scratching choice.

Well its a rebuild.. and a lot of these players are going to struggle. But being concerned about moncada is a rational thing atm. He was the biggest prospect we traded for (or top 2) and looks totally lost.. after hitting .231 last year...

yikes...

.. was nice to break the losing streak however!

extend everyone!

Rebuild or not.. this team and its coaching staff have looked like they all need to be replaced this week. Yikes. Red Sox have to be laughing right now.

It's early in the rebuild.. way way early. But at some point some of these prospects need to start playing or performing or something.. unless we don't plan on being good until 2025

I'm guessing all the knee jerking was from the website being down for so long...

QUOTE (aryzner @ Apr 5, 2018 -> 10:35 PM) 3.5 bWAR last year -0.1 in 2016 Oops I looked at it wrong! However... I still think its way to early to pronounce the greatness of Yolmer Sanchez. Fan graphs had him ranked 2.2 war #14 ranked 2b last year.

yolmer has 3 good games and all the sudden according to Hawk he is the next ian kinsler... and people falling for it. Hey maybe he has got it figured out.. but.. yeah its like waay to early for all of this. I mean he did have a -0.1 War last year...

Well rebuild or no rebuild.. one thing I've seen for a decade is a s***ty ass bullpen, no matter what the situation.

If engel can't catch the ball.. he really really has no purpose.

If I'm davidson.. im like "You should at least buy me dinner first before F***ed me 3 times"

/cheer!

well... good question.. but that article gave zero about anything the organization was thinking...
