I guess I thought he had more AB's last year... But the only possible position I can see him at is DH, and not sure he fits that mold that well.

That might have been it for Delmonico... they gave him a solid shot however. Last year he looked like maybe he had something.. this year just no offensive pop to justify being a slow outfielder who can't defend.

One thing I want to say... I hate the cubs. I'll give them this - their team has been a fucking joke for the better part of 100 years, but somehow they have been a mainstream fast-food style success for a long time. I'll give them that.

Why did he not challenge the play when he was clearly safe. 3.The runner getting thrown out because of a failed bunt is not something that always happens... sorry but it's not. 4. No the pitcher shouldn't swing away.. but that's not an excuse for everything else.

Probably has to do with the 10000 other times bunting hasn't worked for him as a strategy.

Welp... the useless bunting manager strikes again.. But the real factor was the horrible AB's our batters had today.. no patience or plan. Yolmer missing an easy out at home. Looked like a team that knows it not supposed to win.

No such thing as a "can"t miss prospect" Giving a bunch of hyped prospects that turned out well does not disprove that... It's early on Moncada for sure.. but he sure looks like he has a real inability to hit an offspeed pitch.

Well its a rebuild.. and a lot of these players are going to struggle. But being concerned about moncada is a rational thing atm. He was the biggest prospect we traded for (or top 2) and looks totally lost.. after hitting .231 last year...
