  1. Sosa and Colas might as well be DFA'd this offseason.
  2. Actually, plenty of ex Chicago players in general.
  3. Senzel blows. Just launch him
  4. Sorry we don’t give this lousy organization the benefit of the doubt it so much deserves.
  5. Bob Sacamano replied to 2Deep's topic in Pale Hose Talk
    Meh
  6. I'm skeptical but we will see.
  7. I can think of one person who will continue to blame Hahn over the next 5 years. Heck, longer than that even.
  8. You can say that about any GM who has worked for the Sox under JR. There’s other GMs in the game who work with less and are more successful.
  9. Right. They’re not going to spend the saved money and lessening the return hurts them from gaining talent. I don’t know, I feel like making a move where you’re attaching a salary like Benintendi’s is more likely to happen in the offseason. This team just can't stay out of it's own way.
  10. Please don’t call up Quero this year and we already know Jerry won’t add the salary.
  11. If he's "taking it up the ass", he probably has given up the more than 4 or more earned runs needed to be taken out.
  12. That's the huge and probably only factor why the Sox won't. Chuckie Robinson is owed whatever the pro-rated minimum amount is.
  13. It seems that way. Trade him for some PTBNL or DFA him in offseason if you aren't even going to play him in this lost year.
  14. If his son or other family takes over, when will this be?
  15. He's a free agent at the end of the year so just dumping his remaining salary. Teams did this last year too. He'll go to a contender. Makes no sense for the Sox.
  16. I thought about them as a bad contract swap but the only comparable deal is Yoshida so it's not exactly a match: trading one overpaid left-handed hitter for another.
  17. Doesn’t know the strike zone or have the patience of Soto.
  18. All three of them are always playing after coming back from (early) injuries.
  19. This is where I'm at.
  20. He wouldn't really help this team nor it's trajectory in anyway but at least the dude was likeable. Can't say the same for nearly most of this roster.
