Honestly, I was thinking about it the other day and I would be content with Villar at 2B in the 9-spot for cheap if it means we added a top of the rotation arm and Conforto is in RF.

Would it make sense to change it to the 29th, giving non-tendered players at least 24 hours to maybe find a new home before the lockout?

It's really easy to connect teams to free agents and line up trade partners based on needs. When a move doesn't happen? "The team talked with team/player and he signed somewhere else/trade fell through."

What second baseman "like Marcus Semien" is out there? Free agent market is weak at 2B, especially when you realize Escobar isn't good against righties.

I think it's just specifically a 26-man roster tracker, though the "active roster" in the offseason is the 40-man roster. Would be easier to track that way instead.

I'm just not sure I agree with this. Dealing Kimbrel, we would probably need about 3 relievers (to replace Kimbrel, Kopech (sliding into rotation possibly), and Tepera.

I'm hoping we hear, "Sox close to trading Kimbrel to (insert team name here)" rumor very soon.

What about Kopech too since he is likely to be in the rotation? I feel like this is a replacement for Kimbrel though.
