    I actually know a decent amount of people from the Chicagoland area who have visited Minneapolis and love it there. I've only heard positive things about it.

    We'll see if he does or not. Personally, I think his brief (if not only) MLB time will include the Japan trip as one of the 3 extra players.

    Both teams playing in Japan for the Japan series in March get to carry 28 guys. This is a move for that (it was rumored a few weeks/month ago that this would happen).

    Lol please don't tell me the reason is Manny Machado... Dude has friends (Valencia) and former teammates (Jones) all over baseball including in free agency we could sign for nothing.

    Can't really assume a guy is going to sign an extension just because we trade for him. He only has 2 years of control. I would also prefer to find someone who isn't a black hole against lefties.

    The Arenado rumor ended up being false. And the idea of Andujar for Rodon has been brought up before here, multiple times. I think Andujar ends up at 1B in any scenario they pick up a 3B.

    Yeah I would hope they could somehow flip Alonso somewhere if Manny doesn't sign. I don't really want him if Machado isnt here.

    Could see it. Ender had a down year and could shift to a bench role or traded.

    He has some competition at 3B and there are a decent amount of front-of-the-rotation arms that will also be available. More players for teams to spend money on.
