Jason Martinez of Roster Resource was chatting on MLBTR last night and mentioned the Phillies only have $7 million guaranteed for next year's roster with very few guys in arbitration. That is impressive. I would expect them to add a big free agent this off-season or next.

Too many young guys need at bats. Really depends on if they move Garcia and/or Abreu this off-season and they wanted a cheap veteran on a 1-year deal. I would bet he signs with a contender though for cheap and to DH/see little time in LF.

I think it was Peavy who came into a game in like the 3rd inning and ended up pitching 2-3 innings and getting a win. Looking at it now, the 2011 team had Buehrle, Peavy, Floyd, Danks, Jackson, and Phil Humber throw at least 19 games. It wasn't all season, but they did have a 6-man rotation going at some point. I'm about to leave work but can check game logs later.
