Lynn and Gallo aren’t good enough or controlled for long enough for me to take on an expensive contract for a bum like Andrus.

I think Blackmon is intriguing to people because taking on his contract would likely mean that the Sox wouldn’t have to give up as much to get Marquez. That’s my take on it at least.

I didn’t realize how good Joe Musgrove is. It just sucks that he only has 2 more years of team control, though I guess the Sox could try to get him to sign an extension if they traded for him.

I don’t know if he has enough mobility to play the OF given the injuries he’s had. And obviously 1B is taken by Abreu now and by Vaughn in the future.

I want Burger to succeed as much as the next guy, but realistically, where would he even play for the Sox? DH in a few years assuming Eloy stays in LF? I just don’t see much of a path for him at this point given the way this team is constructed.
