This lineup just isn’t that good, they desperately need to get an outfielder. Leury and Hamilton isn’t going to cut it.

There’s two approaches against a guy like Bieber. Swing early in the count against fastballs or try to foul off a bunch of pitches and up his pitch count. Hopefully they try something different than last time because that clearly didn’t work.

Grandal is worse given how much more they are paying him.

I’d do anything to get rid of Grandal’s contract. Hell, trade him to Baltimore for Chris Davis. At least Davis’ contract ends sooner.

Grandal is arguably the worst free agent signing in the history of this franchise. I can’t believe people would take him over James McCann.

Yeah, they still should have been more active in the free agent market but I can’t complain too much if they use that money to lock up all the core guys long term.
