Sox win and sweep doubleheader!
MLB All Star David Price said after the White Sox drafted Fulmer that Fulmer was ready to pitch in the majors. Both Price and Fulmer went to the same college. Price said that Fulmer had so much talent, he would be wasting his time in the minors. Obviously everybody misjudged Fulmer.

The $$$$ will be spent!
I've read where Cole is expecting a 6 year contract worth at least $140 million dollars. Does anybody really think JR is going to pay that much?

White Sox vs Twins 3:12 PM Nova vs Pineda
When the White Sox brought up Chris Sale, he was in the bullpen for awhile before he was in the starting rotation. If Cease is brought up and they put him in the bullpen to get his feet wet up here, so be it.

Bring Cease up. Lets see what he can do. What do you have to lose? We have a starting pitching staff that can't get anybody out.

But yet Fulmer keeps getting called up to the White Sox and Cease is still in the minors.

I think the Sox can get Quintana back
Hahn seems adamant about not bringing up Dylan Cease. Maybe he'll trade him back to the bad guys for Quintana.

The $$$$ will be spent!
Years ago I could have had a job with the White Sox. I couldn't take it. I had other concerns at the time. Looking back at that, I should have taken the job.I figure I could have moved up the ladder over time and would have probably become the White Sox GM.

I would give JR the most memorable interview he ever had in his life. I don't know if I would get the GM job after the interview but I guarantee you that JR would not ever forget my interview.

ChiSox @ BoSox, 6/25, 6:10 CT, NSCH
I see the 2020 White Sox pitching staff with the names you have mentioned. I've read a number of posts who seem to think the team is going to sign Gerrit Cole. I've read elsewhere where Cole is expecting a 6 year contract of $140 million dollars. I can't imagine JR and Hahn paying that type of money for him. We just have to hope that Cease and Kopech pitch decently next season. .

If this organization doesn't improve the starting rotation this is going to be a perpetual rebuild.

Sox sign Hector Santiago
I was surprised that the White Sox didn't resign Santiago this past off season. His numbers weren't bad last year and he's better than most of the starting rotation the team has now. And he could have been signed very cheaply. I would imagine he'll be called up soon.

Can't be upset with this loss. When you're starting your bottom bullpen against the World Champion Red Sox, I don't think anybody should be surprised by the loss. Maybe they should have forfeited the game and spared White sox fans the misery of this game. When you have a organization that did nothing this past off season to improve the starting rotation you start your bullpen in games like this. Nobody is being held accountable for this mess and the whole situation stinks.

Sox sign Hector Santiago
Ex White Sox pitcher Carlos Torres is a free agent again. I wonder if Hahn will bring him back to the White Sox.

6/23- Sox at Rangers, 2:05, WGN
I wrote JR a letter some time ago wanting to be interviewed for the GM job. I don't know if he read my letter but unfortunately I didn't get a response from him. He use to respond to some of my other letters in the past. I would still like to be interviewed for the White Sox GM job. I would give JR the best interview ever.

Sox and Rangers Game #2
1) Pitching Despaigne is basically tanking/losing the game on purpose. Starting him can't be justified unless you're trying to lose on purpose. 2) White Sox FO obviously has no use for Cease. If he hasn't been called up by now he probably won't be called up this season. Maybe they think he's not good enough to succeed in the BIGS.

Sox sign Hector Santiago
This probably means that Cease won't be called up this year.

The Tampa Bay/Montreal Rays
I just read where the Tampa Bay Rays might be playing half of their home games in Montreal. This tells most people that the Rays franchise might not be in St. Pete too much longer. I remember when JR came very close to moving the White Sox to St. Pete. I was acquainted with former Chicago sports writer Bill Gleason. Gleason was the only sports writer in the city who was a life long White Sox fan. He hated both JR and Einhorn and they hated Gleason. Gleason told me that the Tampa Bay/St. Pete market will be a graveyard for MLB. He was right . And to think that JR came very close to moving there. The threatened move to Florida is another stain on the legacy of JRs ownership of the White Sox.

FS: Andrew Vaughn goes to White Sox at pick No. 3
Still haven't heard anything. Are the White Sox going to sign Vaughn? It sure has been quiet about signing him.

Colome remains with White Sox, who always had ample interest in him
Trading David Robertson for Blake Rutherford was simply a salary dump. It has to rank as one of the worse trades Hahn has made.

What options does Renteria have with Yonder Alonso?
I wonder if Alonso is going to be benched and replaced by Jon Jay.

Disco Demolition T-Shirt Night
I'm going to the game tonight and they're giving out a Disco Demolition 40th anniversary T-shirt. I was at that game 40 years ago and it was a nightmare. This seems to be a odd promotion. There was nothing fun about that night. It was another public relations disaster for Bill Veeck and a low point in his 2nd ownerrship. At this past Soxfest one of the fans asked Hahn if there would be a Joe Jackson bobblehead giveaway which would commerate the 100th anniversary of the Black Sox scandal. Hahn didn't answer the question. I would of rather had the Joe Jackson bobblehead than the Disco demolition T-shirt.

Colome remains with White Sox, who always had ample interest in him
This perpetual rebuild is for the birds.

Colome remains with White Sox, who always had ample interest in him
Todays Sun Times implies that both Colome and McCann might be traded before the deadline. Given Hahns dreadful track record in trades, I'm almost afraid to see what the White Sox will get in return if these 2 are traded.

Despaigne called up; Delmonico released; Fry to IL
This July or July 2020?
