Hawk was talking last night its about a manager bringing the most out of their players. Robin is not very fiery and he is not an old baseball man like a Joe Maddon or a Terry Collins. Someone like Rowand is very fiery, we were better under Ozzie and he had that type of persionality. Baseball is not a hard game to necessarily understand. Could be a better match then Ventura.

This team could really be in the running if it had another bat or two. The pitching has been very good for a while now. Shields, Sale, Q and Gonzo have been as good as anyone. Yet we consistently lose 1 run games. 9 of our last 23 games we have scored 0 or 1 run in a game. That is absolutely terrible. Its looking like 10 of 24 right now. In contrast the indians have done it 3 times in their last 36 games.

If you take away the 2 really bad outings recently he has a sub 3.00 ERA. 79.2 innings 25 ERs. Not bad at all
