Are umps ever fined or otherwise docked pay for shitty games? Or are they just denied playoff gigs, etc?

It's looking more and more like the shortened 2020 season was the one to go all in but Hahn did nothing and left us going in to the playoffs with basically 2 starting pitchers and a wing and prayer. Of course if our MVP would have hit like a damn MVP or anywhere close against the A's we could have gotten out of that 1st round and then who knows. That's right I said it, I loved Jose but he left a s%*# ton of guys on base that series. What did Timmy hit, like .700 and the run producers did not bring him around. Sorry, I am getting a little salty and better get back to work.

Does Yaz really deserve a start at DH after his craptacular at bats last night?? Benintendi led off the game yesterday with a great long at bat to set the tone....Sox score 2 runs.....Grandal and Burger have a couple of shitty at bats and let the starter off the hook. Need a good start from Giolito....and Lucas might want to limit the grounders to 3B if at all possible with that butcher over there again today.

3 run homer yesterday....the law of recency and all. But I agree with your sentiments to get rid of him sooner rather than later. Unfortunately injuries (and Pedro's fondness for him) are gonna delay that.

Boy I really do enjoy watching 9 innings of baseball, just to finish with that runner on 2B crap. You will never never never convince me that rule is a good idea. It is bullshit, plain and simple. One friggin pitch and a bunt in the bottom of the 10th and the game is over. Arrrghhhhhhh.

Hanser is really an awful defensive player.

He wasn't gonna get a hit there....it's his lack of putting a damn ball in play in the 1st inning that pisses me off.

If you let a good pitcher off the hook in the 1st inning, more often than not they will right the ship, like tonight. The Grandal and Burger at bats loom large.
