  1. This is like that new facebook crap where its never ending scrolling on a colored post lol
  2. Exactly. Bye Felicia
  3. No no no no. Take his ass elsewhere. Don't need that shit in the clubhouse. I don't care how good he is. The offense is set anyway.
  4. Boys (and ladies if there are any here), prepare yourselves. 2020 is going to be the funnest season we will have as Sox fans in a long, long time.
  5. If this happens...spring training is going to be very, very interesting
  6. Pretend the Sox sign EE. Come mid-may, the field probably looks like this vs righties: 1B:Abreu 2B:Madrigal 3B:Moncada SS:TA LF: Eloy CF:Robert RF:Mazara Catcher: Grandal DH: EE Bench: C Mccann (probably in mostly vs lefties and for Gio) C/1B/DH Collins OF/IF Leury (starts in RF vs LHP) OF Engel IF Mendick (still hope Yolmer comes back as our utility IF though...) I mean that group really has potential to be very good offensively. I am a little concered about the corner outfield defense and hopefully Anderson has focused on upgrading his defense this offseason. My question is, who are you putting out there in Center and at 2B to start the season?
  7. Yonder Alonso and Jon Jay

Welcome. I have been to Milwaukee, both Chicago, and Detroit. We stopped by Petco Park in San Diego but we didn't see a game... was the offseason, so i don't count that one. My wife and I are going on a trip out East this Summer and will see Cleveland (vs Sox), Pittsburgh, Mets, Boston (vs Yankees), and Yankee stadium ( vs White Sox). Cannot wait for that trip.
  9. This rebuild better effing work lol.
  10. I don't have a butthole
  11. This roster on paper looks excellent. There is one thing that worries me: Injuries
  12. I usually won't respond right away because I have a life away from these message boards that I enjoy, so sometimes I don't get back for a day or two and the conversation has taken a turn. Not sure why you need to be a dick to everyone that disagrees with you. My POINT was, they are WILLING to spend the money right now, and just because it HASN'T been spent, doesn't mean it WON'T be.
  13. Refuse to bring in pitching...odd, I'm pretty sure they were the highest bidders for Wheeler.
  14. Here's the thing...I do have high expectations for the team. It probably doesn't come across that way for 2 reasons: I'm a very patient person (I have said and will continue to not cast judgment on this rebuild until it is sought through all the way and we see the end results), and I'm a younger fan than probably most of you. I haven't endured as much losing as most of you, so that probably helps my case. How I didn't jump ship after these last 8 years, I have no idea. I'm hooked on the idea of this rebuild, but if it fails, boy I'm as loyal to baseball and love it just as much as the next guy, but I'm not sure I will.be able to be a part of this organization's culture if this rebuild doesn't succeed.
  15. The top 3 Angels will make more than the entire Sox roster...yet the Angels will still probably barely hit .500 and miss the playoffs. What does that tell you? Also didn't the Rays make the playoffs last year with one of the lowest payrolls in the game? It's not all about money!!!
  16. Excuse my french, but how the fuck has he come up woefully short? You cannot make that determination until and if they fail at the rebuild in a couple years. IT IS NOT OVER YET HOLY SHIT. Seriously yall need to get a grip. There are still moves to be made. Anything can happen. Anything can change in an instant.
  17. Ugh, man, I really don't want to see Covey in a Sox uniform anymore.
  18. Next offseason and the one after that is when I expect them to spend, not this one. Aren't the next two offseasons a lot more heavy with talent anyways?
  19. Honestly, with all the injuries to our prospects, I don't know how people didn't expect this thing to really take off until 2021, 2022 at the very latest. I always expected the 2020 and 2021 offseasons to be the ones where we really spend money. We know a lot more what we have today than what we did last offseason, but we will know a hell of a lot more at the end of 2020 what we have with our core guys.
  20. Also, all the injuries slowed the rebuild way down. I remember when people were saying "2020 Vision." Then everyone got hurt.
  21. Ehh. I've heard that Osuna was pegged for not working hard and he could've done a lot more with the talent that he has, and he will never get the money he's looking for.
  22. Was anyone really excited about Ozuna though?
