  1. Damn wonder what led to him bringing that up lol
  2. I literally forgot Moncada existed and that Clevinger was even on the team.
  3. They play the Cubs on my birthday weekend. I know what I'll be doing. And...I think they should play the Cubs way more often. Make it an actual rivalry and revive the baseball competitiveness in this city.
  4. Can't wait to hear what Schriffen says about this on air.
  5. Holy s%*#. Better late than never?
  6. Yeah, remember when Robert was supposed to be the next Mike Trout
  7. These morons will probably keep him as the manager for years.
  8. So has he had TJS yet?
  9. Attempt...key word...
  10. Money-wise, yeah he's fine. But his legacy is not.
  11. He is so worthless as a baseball player now, it is truly astonishing how far he has fallen. I feel bad for the guy, he obviously doesn't want this to be happening and I don't doubt his work ethic, but it's time to either hang it up or try it with a different team. I wish Jerry had the balls to cut him and Moncada like Houston did with Abreu. October can't come quickly enough.
  12. It was Hawk's time to go. Jason on the other hand...should have been our pbp guy for the next 30-40 years. I didn't like him at first but he grew on me. Benetti and AJ called the Red Sox/Yankees national game on Saturday. It was such a good listen. What the Sox could have had, if they knew what they had in the first place and didn't absolutely suck at what they do.
  13. Yeah but he's probably not making it
  14. This was made painfully clear to me when he said "what else am I going to do? I dont play cards...etc" in his interview last year after he fired Kenny and Rick.
  15. Perpetually rebuilding
  16. And, also just like Cease, he gawn.
  17. Obviously this is not apples to apples. My sister works at a big n tall store that Frank frequently...uhh...frequented, or used to anyway when he was more big and tall than he is now. She said Frank is always one of her nicest customers and given has given her autographed memorabilia.
  18. Yeah, that didn't age well. Just goes to show that baseball can be so incredibly difficult to predict.
  19. It was deep. Robert had no chance. It still wasn't a good look to not at least attempt the throw.
  20. I'd be passed of I were Colas. How can someone get a solid footing if they are constantly being jerked back and forth.
  21. No one is trading for Robert either with how garbage he's been, regardless of the injury.
  22. I really don't care what we get back for him, I'd be happy with anything. He's got one good year under his belt. He can't stay on the field otherwise. This comment might get some people up-in-arms, but he's essentially Yoan Moncada at this point (minus the guaranteed contract) until he proves otherwise.
  23. Do you think Jerry likes it when his players do well? Or does he just see dollar signs flying out the window.
