  1. Giolito is probably a touch better than Mahle was last year (despite some worse peripherals) but Mahle also had an extra year of control.
  2. Not maximizing the talent return to get a major league ready arm would be really really dumb. This team sucks and unless they increase payroll which isn’t going to happen has no realistic pathway to competing next year either. Get ready for a rotation of Cease, Kopech and 3 scrap heap or crappy starters like Scholtens next year plus year 4 of praying guys like Moncada and Jimenez are miraculously healthy and good.
  3. They are going to waste his prime years. This team blows and there really isn’t a realistic pathway to being any better the next couple of years with contract situations and the state of the farm. Montgomery, Ramos and Schultz look like the only potential impact players. Maybe they can compete again in 2026.
  4. That is one of the worst and laziest plays I’ve ever seen by Springer
  5. I genuinely have zero idea how the Brewers called out at home without a call that the catcher was blocking the plate just now but the Sox were safe against the Rangers.
  6. Sox should ride out Remillard’s insane luck as long as they can. It will come crashing down but ride it while it lasts.
  7. Remember when there was debate about if the Sox or Braves had the better farm system? Those were the days. Braves have won a World Series, had a 100 win season and are about to make their 6th straight postseason. The Sox will be rebuilding again soon.
  8. Andrus being absolute trash was so predictable it’s not even funny. He had sucked for years before having a good month stretch with the Sox.
  9. Hahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahaha
  10. He’s played well but small sample size luck has a lot to do with that. He hits the ball incredibly softly (only Clint Frazier has a lower average exit velocity).
  11. Why would you bunt there when you are an absolutely atrocious team and have an extremely bad hitter on deck and your hitter has a 3-1 count. So stupid.
  12. Kyle Muller is an absolute bum. I can’t believe the A’s took him as a key piece in the Murphy deal. Somehow the A’s managed to trade Olson and Murphy back to back years to the Braves and I don’t think they got a single player in those deals who will be better than an average major league player and thus far none are even replacement level.
  13. Their completely asinine luck from yesterday’s game with weak ground balls finding holes shockingly isn’t carrying over.
  14. Everyone should stop spending time and money on the Bulls. Going nowhere under this ownership.
  15. Meh, that’s been a strike all game and Lynn has gotten calls further out of the zone then that called a strike and Remillad also sthp ups have been out a couple pitches before that but the ump called a ball in the zone a strike.
  16. I mean… not really? Nothing in this game can be remotely reproduced unless you are hoping to have a million bloopers and weakly hit grounders that find holes every game.
  17. Super weakly hit ball that is an out 9 out of 10 times. Sox just getting outrageously lucky today
  18. This is insane luck and bad infield defense and positioning by Angels.
  19. Insane BABIP luck by the Sox today. Angels hammering the ball, Sox hitting weak grounders and bloopers that are finding holes (with the exception of Anderson’s second hit but even that was pretty lucky to find a hole).
  20. Barria couldn’t get out a AAA lineup tonight but I’m still almost surprised the Sox are taking advantage
  21. Ohtani should have been a double. No way on Trout’s. That is a home run in more than half of MLB parks and has an expected batting average of .830 on that ball. It was a play that theoretically can be made but that ball was smoked.
