GameThread: White Sox @ Twins
The Sox might have to trade a prospect along with Lynn to get someone to take him lol

GameThread: White Sox @ Twins
It is absolutely absurd how frequently Carlos Correa grounds into double plays. Really bad signing so far for the Twins
-
GameThread: White Sox @ Twins
Entirely predictable. He had sucked for years but the Sox gave him a contract based on one good month.

Lol at Lynn. What a joke.

GameThread: White Sox @ Mets
Lol at Beckham giving Kopech credit for working out of the jam last inning. Pure luck that the Pham ball didn’t find a hole because that was hammered and he made a bad pitch.

The amount of luck Remillard has had on weakly hit balls since being called up is hysterical.

7/19 - Chicago White Sox @ New York Mets - 6:10 PM CDT, TV: NBCSCH Radio: WMVP 1000 AM
If the Sox approach is going to be to swing at literally every pitch it probably isn’t going to be a great night

7/18- White Sox at Mets, 6:10
How could Alonso have ever thought that pitch was a strike it was a foot outside when he started swinging

Carlos Carrasco is totally washed up. Wow is he bad.

7/16- White Sox at Braves, 12:35
Kolby Allard is not a major league caliber pitcher

7/15- White Sox at Braves, 6:15, Fox
He has tonight. He has been missing his spots badly the entire night.

Such a terrible pitch there to Burger. Strider has been absolutely terrible today.

Eddie Rosario is a solid hitter but I’d be really nervous about him being in my outfield in crucial games in October.

7/15- White Sox at Braves, 6:15, Fox
Strider’s command is really not great tonight. Making a ton of mistakes with pitch location.
-
7/15- White Sox at Braves, 6:15, Fox
Such a huge difference between these 3 run innings. Braves hit the ball out of the park and work counts and walks. Sox consistently reliant on luck and some weakly hit balls finding holes or dropping for their big innings.

7/15- White Sox at Braves, 6:15, Fox
Basically every good Sox offensive inning requires incredible luck on weakly hit balls.

7/15- White Sox at Braves, 6:15, Fox
Horrendous execution by Strider this inning on his 1-2 and 0-2 offerings.

Sox v Braves @ 6:20 GAME THREAD
Absolutely loaded roster and most are locked up for years to come.

Sox v Braves @ 6:20 GAME THREAD
Lol at Shaw even being on this team. He’s been trash and washed up for 6 years.
-
Sox v Braves @ 6:20 GAME THREAD
It won’t matter but what an incredibly dumb play by Albies. You have a bad pitcher on the mound with awesome hitters coming up plus a catcher that sucks at throwing out runners. If anything just try to steal second.

2022 Soccer Thread
That wasn't even their second string. That was a C team at best. Mexico is using their best players (minus a couple of guys who are injured) in the Gold Cup in part because the US thoroughly destroyed them in Nations League last month. The USA sent a bunch of guys who won't be on their Copa America squad next year or even in the World Cup picture for 2026. Outside of the goaltenders, I'd be shocked if anyone who played on this team really factors in other than maybe one of the young players like Neal or Cowell if they really develop or Miles Robinson as a deep reserve center back.

Fire Rick Hahn
Yep. I remember having high hopes for that team but Samardzija was a total bust and looking back it is amazing how terrible the supporting case was in terms of the position players on that team.

Fire Rick Hahn
2015 wasn't really a competitive year. But yes, KW likely looks at that team and tries to add for 2016 like he had a few times before. 2020 is the brutal one. Hahn is also lucky that was only a 60 game season because if that season is 162 games the Sox don't make the playoffs that year with the total lack of pitching depth and he would be looking at 1 playoff berth in 11 years of being a GM.

2023 MLB Draft thread
Maybe. Or maybe he continues to struggle and plummets. There have been tons of guys over the years that looked like first round picks the year before their draft but had their stock tank and ended up nowhere near the first round. He’s a great 7th round and worth the gamble though.

2023 MLB Draft thread
There is literally nothing more meaningless than these types of statements after a draft. Every team makes them in every sport.
