  • Good…boost that trade value back up, then send his ass packing

  • Not to mention, in 1 more active season, Eloy has put up HALF of the WAR that Luis has. He just isn't a guy you build around, or even sweat keeping on the roster.   18 different injury stint

An unfair take on Eloy and even Moncada. I would not question their dedication because a lot of it was required to get where they are, especially considering where each came from. Sometimes, some play

Best team in baseball vs. the Braves

We all know the Sox will win today and take another series. No need to watch.

When a team brings up a player with some potential like Colas, they shouldn't be pigeonholed into a platoon situation.

Sure perhaps give them their rest against the toughest LHPs in the league and slowly break them in against them, but the current situation of Colas only facing RHP, Eloy risking life and limb playing RF against LH Starters, and Sheets another waste of a roster space is yet another poor roster management decision by Hahn and company.

White Sox - Dylan Cease RHP 3-3 4.30 ERA, 123 Ks

  1. A Benintendi (L) LF
  2. T Anderson (R) SS
  3. L Robert Jr. (R) CF
  4. E Jiménez (R) RF
  5. A Vaughn (R) 1B
  6. J Burger (R) 3B
  7. Y Grandal (S) DH
  8. E Andrus (R) 2B
  9. S Zavala (R) C

Atlanta Braves - Kolby Allard LHP 0-0, 4.22 ERA, 12 Ks

  1.  R Acuña (R) RF
  2. O Albies (S) 2B
  3. A Riley (R) 3B
  4. M Olson (L) 1B
  5. T d'Arnaud (R) C
  6. M Ozuna (R) DH
  7. M Harris II (L) CF
  8. O Arcia (R) SS
  9. S Hilliard (L) LF

I live here in ATL and have boycotted the games this weekend. My son was bugging me to go Friday and I told him no I don’t want to spend a f ew hundred buck to see them lose 9-1, i was close. Last night was nice but we were busy and day games here in July are brutal hot. If the team wasn’t a hot pile of poop I would have been more motivated to invest time and money.

Yeah, tickets aren't cheap at Truist and I can't imagine sitting in this stifling heat for 2-3 hours in the afternoon.  We're skipping today's game, too.

Ah yes, the 'must have all righties in the lineup' lineup.....despite Grandal being an absolute waste in the lineup, and Colas finally having a good day vs a good team.

Let's go Sox.  Another win at Atlanta would be unexpected but I would love to see it. Need a few home runs with men on and a great start by Cease.

Let’s strive mightily to win and build on this one game winning streak. We can do it!

Is it a nice stadium/experience? Should I put it on my bucket list of road stadiums to visit?

I want Colas out there everyday to see if he can hack it, so he gets 2 hits last night while playing a nice right field and is on the bench today, way to build confidence in the kid Grifol.

The Braves are what the White Sox were supposed to be.

Tim with a nice start to the second half.

TA shuts up the haters, hitting a bleeding groundball single to right on a hanging breaking ball right down the middle of the plate. Everyone apologize to him

Team is run by complete idiots.

Seems like Andersons first time getting on base in first inning since April.

A run may be too much to ask.

Would be a great #9 hitter

remember when we thought Eloy had a potential HOF worthy bat?

Well Tim is 3 for 9, a good 2nd half start, but sure lets piss on him until the day he dies.

Meanwhile, Eloy doing the worthless Eloy things he has done his entire career here.

Way to go Eloy, guy can’t get the ball in the air.

Why not put Eloy in OF.  Seems his injuries don't impact things as much as thought.  Maybe he gets hot and can be traded before tripping over foul line and tearing something.

Hey look at that a hitter who doesn't flail at everything once he's down 0-2 draws a ...walk? Is that what it's called? What an exciting new brand of baseball.

Eloy needs to be traded, he is a complete and total bust.
