A but sure but when you put together a roster of nothing but terrible players except for one guy, and the one good player gets hurt, it isn’t totally surprising to see something like this. Pitchers just never are under pressure against this lineup. There is no power and they don’t work counts.

Insane. All teams lose close games. This team is on pace to be one of the worst teams ever and could easily be winless right now.

Just an unbelievably dumb trade by the Angels and they made multiple stupid trades last year in desperation mode to make the playoffs with Ohtani when realistically that was never happening. Even if none of the prospects they traded ever amount to anything it was dumb because they traded a bunch of assets for expiring contracts and did so without getting back a legitimate difference maker.

Same as it ever was. He will flash in a relief role but his command is still complete trash so he won’t actually be good.

Fedde and a couple relievers maybe. Soroka has looked like total garbage and a DFA candidate. I’ll be shocked if he turns anything around to the point he has actual value.

Having Reinsdorf as owner. The baseball gods were nice to let the 2005 team magically come together because everything else during Reinsdorf’s tenure as owner shows that was a total fluke.

And I don’t think they make the playoffs in 2020 if it’s a real season considering their pitching was toast after 60 games and they had no depth.

It isn't right but fans are more willing to forgive having unsavory characters if their team is actually good and/or the player is a premium talent. The White Sox are going to be atrocious this year with or without Clevinger and he is a mediocre pitcher.
