Both guys are doing a great job. It took a little while to settle in, but there is always an adjustment period in anything.

Mendick has been really good so far. Not great at any thing, but solid at every thing.

I get your point. He usually does struggle until warmer weather. Maybe skipping April and May is why his overall numbers will be more impressive than normal.

not sure yet about Robert and Eloys on base skills. its pretty obvious they both have 40HR power. OBA and good base running in front of those 2 either from #9 or lead off will work out fine.

very similar players. I think NM will double PP's walk rate. Probably only half the homers though. if he ends up hitting 1st or 2nd he'll score about a million runs every year with our line up.

I actually liked watching Parque and Sirotka pitch. Neither one had a ton of physical talent, but they both knew how to pitch. Both guys would jam anybody at any time.

Baldwin, Parque, and Sirotka were our big 3. Yuck!

what kind of arm surgery did he have? any one know?

stockpiling high end young pitching prospects. always a good idea because 60-70% of them blow up.

He's actually worse than the owners.

When teams signed contracts they assumed fans would attend games and spend money. A 100 year pandemic has changed all that. Players want full pay for each game played, even though owners won't take in as much per game(TV money only). This is an unusual problem, but not an unsolvable one. If each side gave a little we could start playing July 4th. If not, both sides will be blamed. That won't be good for any one.

Could still get 80 games in. Give players 80-85% of full pay and play ball. I hate the owners, but they will lose 20-30% of revenue with out fans present. Players should be able to see that. Just compromise and get on with it.

wouldn't change a thing. Pitching depth is the most important thing to have for development and trades.

Sox did great in that trade. Indians and A's, not so much.
