Would still rather have Colome. Both guys are free agents with no compensation involved. Colome has never had a bad year in his career. Hendricks has had many. Not many relief guys are as consistent as Colome. To me that suggests he has a true out pitch.

All things considered, I'd just as soon have Colome back than Hendricks. Colome isn't as flashy, but he has been very consistent.

Any sport with a salary cap and restricted free agency doesn't want to pay its players what they're worth.

Eaton is a pain in the neck, but he wants to win. There are a lot of guys in this clubhouse who will keep him in line. The fact is he's on a one year deal. He'll probably be on his best behavior to keep his career going any way.

I'd like Colome back as well as Hand. Hendrick has been good and bad in his career.

He pitched 1100+ innings in three years and his numbers went down a bit in 74-75. His busted knee cap ruined his career. I wonder what would have happened in 1977 if Ron Leflore had hit that ball 6 inches to the left. The Royals were really good though.

Had arguably the best year any WS player has ever had. I was watching on TV the day he hit 2 inside the park homers in one game. He and Wilbur Wood were the sports idols of my childhood. RIP.
