  1. Lynn and Giolito falling apart just before the deadline makes perfect sense.
  2. Isn’t that nearly impossible? I would love to know if that is the lowest. I haven’t been able to find anything.
  3. Not just possible … I would take it to the bank. No way they play over .500 the next 65 games.
  4. That's .462. They have played .412 so far this season. Even without the 10 game losing streak they are at .460 for the season.
  5. This is basically guaranteed at this point isn't it? Just need to go 32-33 to lose 90. I don't think they can play that well, especially after the trade deadline. Would need to play .631 to get to .500. Impossible.
  6. Who's crying? Just asked a simple question about a basic feature that used to exist and now is inexplicably disabled for some users. If you don't have an answer you don't have an answer. Sorry to ask the question. Moving on.
  7. Cubs seem to know how to do it right. Sox committing suicide in Chicago.
  8. Well I had you on ignore but now the features won’t let me. Any way to bring back that feature?
  9. Well usually when one quotes someone else and rants and raves they are usually lumping them in with their targets. So it’s not a stretch.
  10. And he said something to the effect last year that no one could talk to these guys and hold them accountable.
  11. Who said eat the money owed to Moncada? Put him at second base. That’s all I said.
  12. I don’t think anybody said Burger was the answer, just better than Moncada. Also Burger has 21 home runs this year. Moncada has 29 for the last three years combined. Burger > Moncada.
  13. Burger’s OPS during his awful slump slump since his peak in May is still what Moncada has been for the entire season. Use Burger. Stick Moncada at second if he has to play.
  14. Doesn’t matter. You don’t leapfrog three other teams at this time of the year. Especially when you’ll be selling in two weeks.
  15. Reinsdorf always lucked into things, and it was dumb luck, not creating your own. Jordan, Jackson, Skiles was a good coach, Thibs. They did not find these guys on purpose.
  16. I think Rick Hahn used those lists in his acquisition research.
  17. It’s laughable that they thought Radinsky could be a closer. Good setup man for about two seasons but he was also pretty wild.
  18. Still think he is their best manager since LaRussa I.
  19. I think AJ saw what happened to Ventura and wants no part of this mess.
  20. It is funny how far we’ve come from people assuring me credible managers like Girardi (before he became a disaster) would want to manage the Sox? Now it’s universally accepted and we’re like “Ozzie is the only one besides Grifol who would take the job.”
