  1. It’s no longer an unbalanced schedule. They would have approximately the same record.
  2. Not that I’m advocating f—- bombs being filtered out.
  3. Why does the site bleep out the word s%*# but f—- bombs are deemed ok?
  4. Sterling at least had the decency to sell, although he was dragged kicking and screaming.
  5. Need to go 17-21 to get there. Seems very attainable.
  6. At the trade deadline it was thought that it was certain that Hahn would be gone after the season. Seems like we are past that point and now accepting that Hahn will be around, ruining the baseball experience of Sox fans for at least a few more years.
  7. Also based on past history the CF won’t be close to as healthy as he’s been this year.
  8. Also if the current shortstop is still in Chicago next year they will still need a new shortstop if they want to be competitive. Among the other massive issues.
  9. I don’t think Buehrle ripping aporia is having his name dragged through the mud. In fact it shows how much he loves his family and his dogs.
  10. Filthy language in a private conversation? Oh the humanity!
  11. Right? When righty Anderson got in a left handed boxing stance I knew it wasn’t going to end well. And soft? He got in Anderson’s face and knocked him out. He may be a jerk but he’s not soft, at least compared with Anderson.
  12. He deserved to be knocked out because he threw down the gloves and didn’t know how to defend himself. He got what he wanted.
  13. That may work with a talented team in need of a spark. That is not this team, beliefs not withstanding. For over two years now this has been a .500 team or less. It isn’t a spark they need, they need better players.
  14. I think it’s a stretch to call them superstars but I guess it’s possible in that iteration. No superstars on the Ben Wallace team. Nice players but no superstars. Come to think of it Ben Wallace is another Reinsdorf free agent that came here and just sucked. Also he did basically run Jordan out of town when he already knew what he had so it’s not a reach to think he would have screwed up the draft.
  15. The Pistons had a couple iterations where they won. They are the outlier though.
  16. 2005 was lightning in a bottle.
  17. More meaningless words just as an attempt to deflect. They’ve talked about it? Who cares? The talking has obviously been an absolute failure. It’s the change that is important. Anybody can talk about a change in culture.
  18. I like the idea of divisions but if they aren’t going to play an unbalanced schedule then the idea of divisions is pointless.
