They can still blame Hahn for a couple years. Also Getz said it’s going to take a while because he has to do a deep dive after they hired him because they didn’t want to spend time doing any deep dives.

They sealed their fate a while ago when they failed to have good off seasons in 2019 and 2020. I don’t think they could have a good off season. Not until Reinsdorf and Getz and the entire front office is gone. They may be in Nashville by then.

I went to a bunch of Florida Gators games this year and enjoyed their ride. Wont watch but I’m happy to see in the playoffs Texas, Toronto, Tampa Bay, Florida (they’re Florida, not Miami), and Houston (always liked the Astros since the 70s).

He is still injury prone. I wouldn’t be shocked to see him play 100 games next year. This year has been an outlier for him.

I would feel better if this headline said “The Raysation of the White Sox” or “The Astrosation of the White Sox”. Heck, even the “Twinsation” or “Cubsation” would be better than “Royalsation”. Its not 1980 anymore.

The Astros were always my favorite NL team. It’s been really hard to root then since they hired Dusty Baker.

There’s nothing in his background that leads me to the conclusion that he can find these people.
