  1. He shouldn't. I'd rank them: Gray, Bassitt, Manaea actually.
  2. If our plan out of the draft was to only pitch him 50-60 innings his first year, then he shouldn't have been picked.
  3. The way we handled him turned him into a full time reliever lol
  4. completely agree. He's an okay pitcher, hurt often and on a one year deal
  5. I'd be fine with Moncada if he can maintain a .365 OBP. I want nothing to do with Grandal over Eloy though... Eloy very well could be our best pure hitter.
  6. Yeah, he'd look great offensively. But my goodness would that D be horrible.
  7. I'd do Anderson, Robert, Abreu, Eloy, Grandal, Moncada, Pollack, Vaughn, Leury. If you wanted more balance and Yoan looks okay, you could put him at 2, and push everyone down 1.
  8. I'm bored.. Here's my lineup: 1. Anderson 2. Robert 3. Abreu 4. Eloy 5. Grandal 6. Moncada 7. Vaughn 8. Pollack 9. Harrison/Leury There really is no good way to balance this lineup IF Moncada can't turn back to 2019.
  9. we explode over randoms who name themselves after average fast food menu items
  10. everyone would... but who is to say we'd have Suzuki if we never picked up Kimbrel.
  11. I hate to break it to you but if Sheets is the top offer, they don't have many offers.
  12. That seems very expensive WITHOUT an extension in place.
  13. I will now change my grade from an EASY F, to a D+/C-. Did not address 2B, SP, backup catcher or left handed hitting.
  14. Wonder if this (or something) truly did happen in the 2020 Oakland game when he was pulled... Could our MRI have missed it/passed on it?
  15. For sure. I guess I am just thinking that 5 million isn't due until the end of the year, so maybe they wouldn't include it, or all of it?
  16. Maybe we use the 5 million in savings to sign a reliever.
  17. As the number 11 pick.. I'd say yes, he needed to at least be tried at a starter. I want a higher ceiling than a reliever with that high a pick. He will never get the opportunity (as I have said since we brought him to the bullpen.
  18. yup. I didn't really like the pick (but whatever), he had a high ceiling.. What I HATED however, was the way we handled him in every way.
  19. Sooo this isn't sounding too good. Was hoping to hear some optimism from @ptatc. womp.
  20. Or it works and we are the #1 seed. Risk I am willing to take.
  21. Just because I think they over-played in 2021. Similar to what I think will happen to the Giants this year.
