  1. They literally haven't addressed a single issue coming into the offseason except the middle of the bullpen. Improved Backup Catcher - NO Improved Rightfielder - NO Improved 2B - NO Improved rotation - NO Improved bullpen depth - YES Trade Kimbrel - NO I am unsure how anyone would call this anything other than an F.
  2. That's kinda what I am saying is that you can win playoff games with less than ideal starting pitchers... Hence why I'd prefer a guy who will play every day in those games.
  3. So we agree that starting pitching is less important in the playoffs..?
  4. He had one "okay" minor league year back in 2017.. pass.
  5. I'd argues strongly they need RF more than SP. In the playoffs you start 4 starters max.. Of those that actually get to start, it's rare anyone makes it past 4 innings now. First sign of trouble and they're out. Give me the guy who will start every game. That being said.. We still need another starter lol
  6. wow, I would pound that over if it really was 87 LOL . I'd drop a lot of money
  7. Yikes, that's a rough position group lol
  8. Any logical manager or front office would do this.
  9. We refused to improve backup C, RF and 2B.
  10. We were top 5 before the offseason and haven't moved up (maybe down).. We are allowed to love our roster but also hate that we refuse to improve it properly.
  11. I just hope that he doesn't sign a 1 year deal somewhere. That would mean all next season we would be clamoring for him again do to his perfect fit, but our front office wanting to focus more on utility players and old veterans past their prime.
  12. Why not.. we have no RF otherwise lol
  13. yes. This offseason has been a disaster.
  14. Honestly I am starting to jump abroard the Whine Wagon.. I stood up for hahn and wanted to rebuild so bad. We are FINALLY to where we wanted to get, and Hahn blows it and it appears we have no interest maximizing our window, rather Hahn continues the same horrible offseason plans we've always had (signing old, shitty vets way past their prime). IDK why I figured things would change.
  15. Man.. I can't get over this disaster
  16. Eaton looked good through the first 2 weeks last year
  17. We prefer they allocated differently.
  18. wow that would be horrendous. If we aren't going to spend his money, just keep the dude.
  19. We are going to do nothing to try to maximize our window, aren't we?
  20. Red Sox under .500. Giants under .500. Mariners under .500. Braves under .500
  21. 1. Josh Harrison is cut by July 15 2. Vince Velasquez doesn't make it past April 3. Cease leads our team in cy young votes. 4. Kopech leads our starters in ERA/FIP (just doesn't have a ton of innings) 5. Abreu has under 100 RBI 6. Vaughn bats .280/25/90 7. Eloy bats .300/40/100 8. Moncada continues doing what we've seen. Not a difference maker but good player. 9. Conforto is on the white sox and slashes .270/30/80 10. Sox win 100 games, go to the world series and lose to Dodgers 11. Romy has a 2.5 WAR season, but doesn't start until Harrison gets cut in July.
  22. I'm not there. What a horrendous offseason this would be if this is it. Not sure how someone wouldn't grade this an F. lol
  23. I predict he will be a full time player at one position.. Which sucks.
