You absolutely should trade the 1 year control guys AND Anderson. No sense in holding them. It's not like this team has shown prior year success to where you can hope they turn it around. They haven't shown that in the past, so why assume now.

Lux is the definition of meh player.

He was very good in 2022. This year he's only had a handful of starts.

Anderson traded, Giolito traded, other short term deals traded.

He salary is great for a top of the line closer. You'd grab a top 100 prospect easy. The problem will be... how he looks coming off of cancer and if he lost anything.

Henriks should really be traded asuming he pitches fine.. He would net you back a real good prospect (closer cost) and is only under control for 1.5 years.

I always believed that the majority were playing under steroids. Just like I believe that the majority of teams were cheating during like the Astros were.

He was never going to be a big power guy. So it's not surprising to not see him hit 30. I will say it's surprising to not see him walk way more, hit for a higher average and struggle to get to even 20 homers. I think we all reasonably expected a .285. 360++OBP and 25 homer guy. I'm not sure he can do that anymore. He feels very.... James Loney to me at this point.. eek.
