Liriano continues to recover from facial injuries suffered when he was struck by a pitch in the face during spring training, and still has a way to go in the process. Maybe he was top 100 by another publication more recently, but he went from 2nd best prospect in the Padres' system in 2011 to 8th best in 2012 and never really regained his top prospect status thereafter.

Once upon a time, there was a reasonable level of confidence that some of these under the radar moves would work out, especially on the pitching side. Now they're all pretty much universally mocked.
