Carlos Rodon, Luc Giolito, Reynaldo Lopez, Carson Fulmer, Alec Hansen, Zack Burdi. Strikeouts are pretty cool.

Strikeouts are cool. But so are position players.

That kinda seems like a thing. Now you wait for word from other interested clubs.

Yep, this puts the gauntlet down for other teams. Now do they step up with their #1 guys?

Were? So what happened, legit question I dont follow minor leagues that much.

Bregman, Turner and Benintendi had great ML debuts. Giolito struggled in his, and Robles was in A ball.

Which are exactly what we cannot develop on our own. Therefore we need to trade for them

Honest question: what excites you about those 2?

Projectable prep SS/3B prospect with solid tools across the board and great makeup. Dunning is a polished higher floor college pitcher that could slot in as a middle of the rotation arm in the not so distant future. They are solid depth pieces in a potential trade.

Sources: #RedSox checked in today with #WhiteSox on Sale. Dombrowski said no “driving” force to add SP, but not necessarily one-team race.

If deal gets done means #Nationals moved off elite ready-now youngster like Trea Turner and decided to do best package available

Think he means White Sox move off that package?

If so, more reverse posturing!!!

Hahn should tell Dom to go away unless he's serious now

Nightengale says no Turner

Tweaking DD for Moncada/Benintendi.

TON of volatility in that group, obviously. But a ton of talent, too. No one can deny that.

What's the deal with Severino? I know he's 22 but his offensive numbers are pretty bad

Fantastic defensive catcher but pretty sub-par hit tool.

Giolito #4- Giolito’s stuff remains exceptional, earning him a big league callup, but scouts worry about his command.

Robles #13- One of the most dynamic prospects in the game, Robles has the potential to be a true five-tool player.

(#4)it's way too soon to worry about a guy with two 80-grade pitches in his holster and imposing size to match.

(#15)Robles is a scout's dream, a projectable center-field specimen with an advanced approach that should allow him to fully develop his five-tool potential.

#3-Giolito has the highest ceiling among Minor League pitchers, boasting an elite fastball that sits mid-to-upper-90s and a 12-to-6 curveball that he throws with power and hard, downer action. His changeup has steadily improved in the past two seasons and his confidence along with it, giving him a legitimate weapon against left-handed hitters. The sky is the limit for Giolito, who has the stuff, physicality and command to develop into an ace.

#10-Robles is a potentially special talent who showcases all five tools along with elite athleticism on a daily basis. He shows the makings of a plus hit tool, thanks to his compact but explosive swing and feel for using the whole field, and scouts rave about his advanced approach and strike-zone judgment. A plus-plus runner, Robles' speed enables him impact games on the bases as well as in center field, where he has range for days in all directions and arm strength that's among the best in the Minors at the position. Beyond the athleticism and physical tools, the Nats love Robles' makeup and overall baseball aptitude, both of which make him a leader in the clubhouse. He might still be a few years away from reaching the Major Leagues, but there is reason to be excited about the kind of player he could become.

DD is never out of it. Man I just feel like this to get Boston and Houston to give up Benny or Bregman. This sucks IMO. I don't like this deal at all.

Turner, Benintendi, & Bregman were all called up and were all successful to varying degrees. Once guys like that flash their potential in the majors, they are nearly impossible to acquire. We have a chance to acquire two Gus that were considered equal talents but haven't yet seen their value inflate due to major league success. They are exactly the type of we should be targeting if we want both quality and quantity.

OK we can go to bed now.

May be in the minroity, but this definitely sounds like a ploy for Boston to UP their offer and have the nationals get desperate and deal Turner. May be crazy, but I think it's a legitimate shot.

If Sale is eventually traded, today, next few days, next few weeks, you start thinking how deep on the roster the rebuild could run

Trade it all!
