He used to tweet about how much Obama was costing taxpayers going to Hawaii.

For a guy who would have no time for golf and was just going to sit in the White House making great deals, his detail sure does cost a lot of money.

Anyone sick of winning yet?

As did every Republican. Which was preceded by every Democrat complaining about how much time Bush spent in Texas. Has there ever been a president who didn't golf and go on vacation too much?

It's a little different when it is the actual individual who is b****ing about it. But that is part of Trump's shtick. You know when he starts talking about the lying media and fake news, some more lies are coming out of his mouth.

Katriana Pierson former national spokesman for the Trump campaign, called slavery good on Fox this morning.

I think everyone thought Bush would be the high water mark, but Trump is going to eclipse that real quick.

Yeah, but does anyone come close to what Trump is doing? All this stuff is on record. We can compare how often each President golfs and goes on vacation, at least in the modern era. Trump is blowing everyone out of the water and he's the only one I could recall going out of his way complaining about other Presidents. The secret service cannot keep up. When the heck has that ever happened in our lifetimes?

Not to mention he told his rallies that he wouldn't have time to play golf. He would be way too busy sitting in the WH making great deals.

The difference is that you know Bush and Obama actually worked on vacation. Trump actually thinks the President gets days off and can check out like a factory worker.

I don't really see Trump taking lots of time off as a bad thing. Less awful things he can get accomplished.

Well it is the first time a reality show star has been elected POTUS.

Ronald Reagan was a B movie star, not too far removed from reality tv credentials except for his time as California governor.

Started his career on the radio in the Quad Cities, actually.

Touche. But he did have 8 years as governor and modern reality TV is a whole different animal than acting back in his day

Good god...the partisanship on this board is sickening.

Not about right vs. left at this point. It is about right vs wrong. There is no argument. This is why the "hyperpartisanship" exists. You have a a large group of people who are saying enough is enough. You cant continue to socially and economically s*** on minorities and continue to get away with it, and then claim things like "reverse racism." The parallel to Nazi Germany in this country is staggering. No wonder a loon like Trump got elected

Nope. Anyone defending the scum in that video is 100% wrong. Did you even watch the video? Probably not.

I'll stand by what I said previously. It's absolutely pathetic that people here would try to validate violence by saying the guy was "annoying" or because a liberal protestor was run down by a right-wrong psychopath. But whatever, political affiliation is more important than moral behavior to some apparently.

Yeah. And I definitely contribute to it, that's incredibly obvious.

But at the same time, here we are with a video that shows how mean Antifa (who didn't exist two weeks ago to a bunch of people now rallying against them) is. They even yelled at the guy (granted, they did seem like pretty s***ty people) and...carry him out? If it was a shove then it was the weakest shove to end all weak shoves. But then he was safely escorted out by polcice. Those violent, violent leftists.

And they were 100% in the wrong.

But this comes a less than two weeks after showing how people really suck. James Fields running over a crowd of people and murdering Heather Heyer. A group of white supremacists beating Deandre Harris within an inch of his life with metal poles right next to a police station.

That doesn't even include the neo-nazis and white nationalists that chant "blood and soil" while marching with tiki torches to protest the removal of a statue of one of the biggest traitors in American history.

So to recap - guy gets yelled at and lifted/pushed out of a spot. Woman is killed, others significantly wounded and Nazis are marching and calling for the death of anyone who isn't pure like them.

When partisanship means not equating the former with the latter, yeah, I'll be partisan as hell because the latter is a few goosesteps away from Nazi Germany when the President of the United States is somehow unable to condemn them until three days later. Because he wanted the "facts", which he didn't give a s*** about when it came to Barcelona and he started praising hypothetical war crimes while slandering the name Gen. Pershing.

WTF. You're the only one here who tried to somehow connect this to the murder of Heather Heyer. No one else did this. So again, stop justifying someone's violent actions because someone on the other side of the political spectrum did something much worse.

And sometimes pretending there's a moral high ground in the middle is more important to people than recognizing that the GOP embraced the Tea Party, let Trump get their nomination from their "deepest bench" (so there goes the "but Hillary" argument), installed Jeff Sessions as AG, installed DeVos as Sec. of Ed, let an oil executive run a massively understaffed State Department and think that the conviction of Joe Arpaio is a political attack. Oh yeah, and stole a Supreme Court seat and gave it to a man who is already making a mockery of the seat he holds.

The GOP owns Trump. They own MAGA. They own the goose steppers. The voters? They were conned.

But the party itself owns this because they had plenty of shots to stop it.

It's not the tenuous string of Struth Boston to Heather Heyer. It's the fact that in the video this guy claims he was attacked by "Antifa", but I saw little moaning from some about Charlottesville other than "they're pretty bad people, but the GOP isn't connected" because StrangeSox was trying to connect them. Which he did a little too strong and said as much.

Yeah, I gave the same "they're pretty bad people" argument against the Antifa portrayed in this video. They're pretty s***ty people. But at least they didn't kill or maim someone.

And if anyone calls the contents of that video an attack, well, we've got a lot to go through before that.

I didnt watch the video. If left wing groups are feeding the trolls I will call them out accordingly. I was referring to the aura of hyperpartisanship in general.

Again, you've turned this into a partisan issue when it's not one. Am I allowed to beat someone's ass cause they were "annoying" and justify it by saying some random right-wing psychopath ran down an innocent person with their car? Think that defense would hold up in court? It's completely absurd and I'm not sure why you're still trying to connect scummy behavior by liberal prostestors to the Republican Party. You realize TaylorStreet is a liberal right? You realize I'm a liberal right? You're "the Republicans have done way worse" argument isn't going to work here because we aren't defending them. We're simply calling s***ty behavior regardless of political affiliation.
