If Soto is off limits, I'd do Kieboom + Luzardo for Robertson + cash. If Robertson & Kahnle are packaged together, I'd need Soto + Kieboom plus something else decent. As long as we eat some money, Robertson should have plenty of value himself.

Adding Kahnle to that package adds so much value due to the years of cheap control. Not saying it warrants Robles, but we'd need more players coming back.

Other teams including the sox are wanting robles in trades for high end relievers. Yes robles is their replacement for harper but you cant wait for the future when you are trying to win now. You have harper another year and half but you come up short by not fixing the pen cause you want to save a prospect. They will have to pony up eventually cause every team knows the nats are going to be desperate at some point.
