November 21, 20178 yr Author I am pleased with the MLB here. This is sufficient punishment and should be a deterrent in the future. I wonder if issue was braves literally paying out to some of these players prior to contract to ensure they never really hit the market.

Sounds like they barely tried to hide it, and almost flaunted the rules.
