Dylan gets a shower from Yolmer for his first career ML win.

What should have been such a relieving, fun win gets drowned out by a lot of suck. 

Awesome job by Covey, whose stuff looked great.

Hell must of frozen over...Covey looked terrific. Of course the Sox have lost Castillo and L. Garcia for awhile. Can't keep guys in the lineup. 

We won the game and lost two more starters.

Nice win. I know nothing about Covey except he was a fourth rounder. I can hope he's decent.

If Covey can throw 94-95 with that kind of movement he suddenly becomes really interesting. Results were definitely not fluky tonight.

Ok so where did the new team come from , I’d better get on that 2000/1 for the WS .

It's obvious Covey is going to become our Arrieta now. The stars are aligning.

Keep in mind that he was probably expected to be completely overmatched last season since he had never pitched above A-Ball before being thrown to the wolves last season.  He sure looked great last night against a team, that while incomplete, has some dudes that can hit.

I finally had the night off to watch a whole game, and they rewarded me. Thanks dudes

Their pitching has been aggressively bad for a while but crazy how much worse that lineup looks with a decrepit Davis. 

One of the things with that power hitting 1b/DH type. Yes there are theoretically many that can fill it, but when you are not getting production out of that position it's pretty killer.

Mostly that matchup like this and random chance are the reason it's very difficult for a baseball team to win less than 60 games in a season.
