Dammit. My fantasy team already has almost no one playing today as is.

Have the Sox had a 3 game winning streak this year ?

Yes, at the end of April, but the day ended with a loss in the 2nd game of the doubleheader in KC.

Moncada looks like shit.

Got a bad feeling about this

Escobar loves Sox pitching...

Haha, just unload his contract if possible and turn the page on one of the worst trades in franchise history

He's a terrible offspeed hitter. Problem is he can't hit inside fastballs either. Lots of holes currently in his swing.

double, homer, double.  fantastic start...

It appears that Shields once again cares about tanking

He's probably distracted by all the trade talk.

He's jamming himself on fastballs.  It's alarming.  It's reminding me a bit of Gordon Beckham.  Obviously Moncada has more talent in his finger than Beckham has in his whole body but some of the swing analysis of Yoan that talked about how he'd have a hard time timing MLB pitches because of his loading mechanism seem more accurate now.

Nothing he can't overcome but he's in a rut right now.  He's popping up fastballs he should be driving into the gaps.

Escobar and Adrianza just killing Sox pitching.

Shields doing Shields things. i.e. giving up gopher balls. Now that the weather is better expect him to go from serviceable to crap.

I have bemoaned that same observation

He'll have a good start every once in a while, but he's gonna continue in this role all year. Get 5-6 innings out of him every fifth day, allowing six-ish runs each outing, during a 48-win season.

This game should be quick at least.

I thought Cooper had fixed Shields? What's up with that!!!

What a joke.

7-0...

Shields should keep his mouth shut for good after this game.. that didn't work out for him to well.

Well so much for any possible trade value.. not that there was much..
