Posted July 25, 2018 Share Posted July 25, 2018 For all the hate Moncada has been receiving over the year from both outside media and many on the boards/Twitter I really like his mental approach. He had a line the other day where he said he doesn't care if he strikes out 300 times this year, it's all about approach and growth. I think there's really something to be said about that. He's not freaking out with the K's, but understands he has to work on them. As he gets better and gets more respect from umpires a lot of these called third strikes might be walks. Also could you imagine if they did away with umpires and went to a computer system?
