He looked like he has multiple competitive pitches and wasn’t a clown show to get outs like his predecessor

Detwiler through 4 has shown himself well.  He doesn't pitch like he's afraid to throw the ball.  Might be up for awhile.

Detwiler could do himself a lot of good with a strong performance.  With our pitching situation he could get himself a good long look.  A first round draft choice with 10 years in the pros.  Must have something for clubs to keep giving him a chance.  For his sake and ours I hope he's successful.

I'm pleasantly surprised with Detwiler.

I like that Detwiler throws strikes.  Not walking the world is a great trait.  His pace is very decent also

Anderson 4-6 weeks.

The bunting meme needs to die

That pitch was right there for Rondon but he lightly flew out to LF

Yeah like 4 hours ago

He never lived up to his draft status but a LHP with a career 4.36 ERA isn't bad. As a matter of fact with an ERA like that he would be the 3rd, maybe 2nd, best SP on this staff

What do the White Sox see in Jose Rondon that I do not?

If you squint you see Rodon and a two way player drafted at #3 needs every chance he can get

Not to get ahead of myself...it would really be something to find a decent starter from are own system we hardly ever heard of.  Like McCann it would be like finding something for nothing.

Nice job by the lefties this inning. Leury is such a solid player

Great question. Give Mendick a shot. What is there to lose? He would surely not be hitting .190

Jay on pace to match his buddy Alonso's total hit total in a month.

Nice to see his ERA get run up.

I see it now.  I closed my right eye and blinked my left really fast and now see Rodon.  Thanks.

Rondon can flash the leather but his bat is awfully weak

What in the christ is Berrios doing

Leury has been pretty solid this year. I wonder if him playing SS while Tim is out is going to lead to some interesting trade possibilities.

I hope it leads to Tim becoming the starting RFer for the next several seasons.

Why couldn't Jay be the one to play all year and Yonder be the one with the mysterious DL stint?

Jay is just a solid player. Not really good and not flashy but a much needed veteran presence (who doesn't completely suck ass like Alonso) and can play RF unlike anyone else on the roster

Palka still sucks

Twins playing 18 innings yesterday might keep Berrios in there longer than they want.

He probably already is the second best starter on this staff.
