  • Until we start hitting, maybe it should not be called the heart of the order....maybe the spleen or the appendix?

  • The one excuse the Sox organization keeps using to explain the slump is that Timmy being out has hurt them on and off the field.  That is such crap and it’s disappointing to hear guys like Stone conti

  • But coming up in the 8th inning, stay tuned for an exciting segment where Benetti asks Yolmer what is his favorite vegetable.

Swept again.

Tough one. Now 8-8 vs. KC this year.8 out of KC's 36 wins are vs. the Sox. 22%.

Does Reed honestly think you get 4 strikes?

Pathetic.

We need fastball hitters.

Abreu’s increasingly losing bat speed.  Collins would have to massively retool his swing, Reed has a long/extended swing as well.

Jose did a good job to pull his hands in and at least make contact, but he’s not driving those mid 90’s and above fastballs in recent weeks.

The one I remember was against Boston, but haven’t been following every game this year.

Why the hell did McCann not hit for Reed?

Regardless, the Sox are moving toward another top 7 pick and Moncada had 3 hits today. Oh well.

It’s pretty pathetic that we can’t even count on Yoan stealing 2nd against a righty reliever to get into scoring position

You know, at least the White Sox know where they stand. That illusion of being competitive should be gone. Let’s not act as if we’ll need any of the veterans. Trade all of the veterans and acquire young talent.

two sweeps that pathic excuse for playing baseball i don't care  you tanking to have two sweeps back to back you now your manger isn't doing his job right

This seems like a major overreaction

Louder for the people in the back. Been saying it's absolutely baffling why he hasn't been using his speed tool since he's been here. He should've stole more bases last year too. He steals 2nd there, Abreu's hit ties the game. The little things.

He almost is as fast as Durham, but he just doesn’t like to steal bases.   Not cool to play the game that way anymore, I guess.

Robert probably ends up the same way, too much fear of injuries.

As long as the guys who matter continue to play well, I couldn't care less about their record.

Tough game to watch. Hot day. Hardly anyone in the ballpark. Sox lose seventh in a row. It doesn't get any more lethargic that this.

Trade Abreu if he wants to come back for 2 year extension fine, but no reason to keep him last 2 months.

One more month until we get into the heart of the dog days of August.

Tough watch without Anderson and Jimenez.

No reason not to play Reed and Collins everyday and see what they have...record doesn’t matter anymore, if it ever did.

Wow...

That's all I've got...just...wow.

Rebuild or not, when you get swept by the putrid Royals you've got serious issues.

Starting pitching was awful once again and the fact that the Sox don't really have options should be an eye opener, after all this isn't year one of the rebuild.

Before the 1st game of this series, someone posted that we need to sweep these pathetic bums.  He was right----except we're the pathetic bums.  Lose 4 in a row to a team that was 30 games below .500 at the All-Star break.  Nice. Very. Nice.

27th In ERA, 29th in fielding, 23rd In OPS but probably end up getting passed by KC and StL by the end of the day (718 vs 717) to fall to 25th

Actually 14th In batting average, highlighting the weakness of that measure

But just 28th In runs scored...

Batting average means nothing.  The important stat is Runs Scored.

Theoretically, you can have 6 hits in an inning, and not score a run and your batting average for the inning would be 1.000.

So glad Rick gave them a relaxed schedule coming out of the Athletics series it really did wonders.  I'm tired of having a moronic baby sitter as a manager.  Joe Girardi is tanned rested and ready.

Hope like hell you aren't making comments like this again this time next year.

Correct.

And the Sox are notorious for loading the bases with no outs and scoring 1 run or less.

Girardi be taking over for Maddon when the Cubs fail to win the WS this year.

Given how St. Theo treated Renteria, he's probably already told Joe the job is his.

No accomplished manager will be taking over for two reasons:

(1) Reinsdorf is not paying.

(2) Don Cooper has to be retained.
