December 21, 20196 yr If you could add any 2 players to the White Sox, who would they be? Don't think about financials or what it would take to get them. Just the 2 players from a talent and fit perspective that could magically land on the Sox. BTW, let's assume Trout is the only one you can't have (only because I don't want to see 25 of 25 replies say "Trout")
December 21, 20196 yr Author I'd go with Bellinger (Acuna was a close second) and Glasnow (his stuff was easily the best I saw last year and even with TJ in his future I'll take my chances)
December 21, 20196 yr Assuming contracts are not an issue, Trout and Cole has to be the answer. edit: should have read full post. Give me Soto instead I suppose. Edited December 21, 20196 yr by ChiSox59

December 21, 20196 yr Seeing as this is a simple thought exercise I’m gonna go wild! In previous posts I rallied hard against a perpetual rebuild trades. Under this premise I’ll push an idea that I’m not sure even I believe in. I would take something like Wander Franco and Casey Mise. At that point I’d consider trading anyone without 5/6 years of control for other top 10 prospects and build a 2023 super team. Seeing as this isn’t real why not zig when others zag ?.
December 21, 20196 yr Of most wins to Sox probably Bellinger and Cole. Best for control, I’d take Buehler/Soto. Most fun for me would probably be Chapman and Ohtani
