Give this man some room, he is ready to do some things.

I love this.   His tone and maturity to me mirrors of what Jose Abreu has brought to that locker room.

The real issue is how Lightfoot is going to have 2 million people, maybe more, social distance in November for the parade. ?

  • If you would have told me before the season started that the Sox would be tied for first place with 60 games left I’d have been ecstatic.

  • I honestly think this is fun. We've all seen plenty of your typical baseball seasons. We will all see plenty more of them.  It's something different this year. Try to enjoy it. It will go back to

With Chewing Tobacco being banned for this season, are certain members of this board Jose Abreu fans now?

He’ll still do it and gut it ?. Or those On! And Zyn nicotine pouches where you don’t have to spit

This team has 80 grade swagger.

Just please pair it with wins.

That’s a really bad list.  Kyle Schwarber over Nelson Cruz?  Encarnacion ranked 11th, but Miguel Cabrera ranked top 6?

Also Desmond and Zimmerman both opted out did they not ? To list Cespedes 4th when he had barely touched a bat in 2 years seemed like quite biased reporting as if he is a Mets fan. Its an insult to a guy like Encarnacion who has been one of the most consistent power bats for 8 years straight; I do hope he has another good year in him. For those who don't find much use for Batting Average i tend to think it reflects or signifies the beginning of the end for some hitters, EE's has been steadily trending down now for 4 years but he deserves the benefit of the doubt until there's a dramatic dip . He really has had much more success since he turned 29 , Hopefully a guy like Yermin Mercedes can learn and benefit from him as longs as its not chemically induced.

Without wins swagger is just bluster . Gotta walk the walk if you're going to talk the talk. You lose, gonna lose that luster , buster.

Anyone see what Oakland is doing? They charge fans a certain amount to have their face put on a cardboard cutout that will be put in a seat at their park. Besides maybe being seen on TV, if a ball hits your cutout, they will mail it to you. Pretty creative.

Maybe the Sox will put a picture of the Windy City Limo guy wearing his M&M jacket in his regular seat.

Kind of cool that of the only like 5 teams represented in there, they include the Sox and TA7 as a fun representative of the game. Added bonus that the cubs are conspicuously NOT included.

The NC Dino's have been doing something similar in the KBO.  Not sure if they are charging people, but they have had fans, personalities and mascots behind home plate.
