In that situation, Collins was the EXACT right call. Pinch hit for R Engel with L Collins, NOT R Yermin or R Eloy, even if they were available.. It was the right call, just didn't work out.

What I don’t get is Robert has without question been one of our best hitters, but in at attempt to protect him no matter the cost he’s willing to put undue pressure on a guy who has been terrible this year and another unproven young player.

Predicting that Rodon doesn't last 4 innings, gives up 5+ runs and has a meltdown on top of it all.

what on earth is Renteria doing? Reminds me of when my coach used to put me in cleanup to psyche out the opposing pitcher to pitch around me because I sucked at hitting.
