Nice thing about colome is you have plenty of time to watch your kids grow up between pitches.

Whoever wins this at-bat wins the trade.

Give him the 8th

He gone!

you def at least let bummer come out for the 8th for 1 batter.

Bummer is so good. This bullpen is SO GOOD.

Cruising

Bummer is nasty and should have the 8th too

You know I enjoy Stone and Benetti banter

I can't imagine trying to cover the game from an empty stadium by watching monitors. They are doing a great job.

Bummer was like "I'm just going to throw every pitch on the very bottom right of that strike zone box" like it's MLB 2K on classic pitch or something.

This bullpen is so good. (April, 2007)

No, really. They’re damn good.

If Heuer can settle down into a reliable 7th/8th inning guy, agreed.   That gives you Marshall, Bummer and Colome, +1.

Engel needs to hit for Mazara.

what a horrible AB

Collins is so bad.  That wasn’t even a competitive at bat.

McDougal, Aardsma, that other huge lefty that came over from KC and could never consistently throw strikes...

This is a tough one. I might have Engel in here to hit. He's probably coming in the game for defense anyway

Sisco.

I would have pinch hit Engel there

Trout returns from paternity leave.

Of course, homers in his first PA.

Not sure why they just gave away an out there. Engel is coming in for Mazara anyways.

He’s just bad against lefties and really shouldn’t be facing them.

That was a big catch Mazara made earlier.

Agreed. Plus Detwiler has the good long guy locked down. Cordero is the only real question mark for that other 7th guy.

Figures the guy with the 8 era mows us down

Cordero for the 8th, looking like...forgot about him, so our bullpen goes 5 deep right now.

6, if you're willing to believe Detwiler has morphed into 2005 Neal Cotts/Cliff Politte.
