Their entire tanking period rides on Madrigal/Vaughn/Crochet now. 

The middle years of the 2010s were a complete disaster with Fulmer/Collins/Burger. If you want to throw Rodon in there it's fair actually.

His purpose is to allow McCann and Grandal to both be in the lineup a few times a week. But yeah.

With Beiber on the hump, you go with the best matchups against him rather than worry about bullpen matchups that may or may not happen later in the game. Seems like Ricky can't win either way with these arguments. Either he is too focused on staggering left/right hitters but then not enough, one day he takes Bummer out too soon because he should be a multi inning reliever, a couple days later he leaves him in too long because he sent him out for a second inning.

It would be nice if his In Case Of Emergency 3rd Catcher role actually brought some value/flexibility/positional versatility to the roster...

Bumgarner is absolute toast.  Bullet dodged.

Average FB velo down about 4 mph.

Someone just homered for his 8th of the year (and 4th of series) against him and shimmied across the dugout, playfully ignored by teammates with the silent treatment.   Bumgarner will be royally pissed LF didn’t even bother to turn around.

Keuchel has been really reliable. Glad we got him.

Kevin Gausman is hitting 100 today against LAD.  Bauer, Stroman, whoever it is, we need another pitcher for next year with Lopech’s future ruddled with uncertainty.

Gausman would be a poor man’s Wheeler without the extreme contract risk.

Eloy's misplay on Yelich really got him hot. He has 3 homers in 2 games since leaving town. Hopefully he terrorizes pitchers for the rest of the year and raises hell on the Cubs' chances

Vasgersian's voice is money but he often says very dumb shit. In the opening game of the year he said Scherzer "has never faced Judge in any game before tonight." Meanwhile 2 years ago Judge homered off of Scherzer in the ASG
