Right now he just looks in between. He doesn't seem to want to hit anything the other way and isn't swinging with a ton of force it seems

My theory is he knows he cant be as aggressive as he has been because pitchers wont throw him strikes

Notice how his walks have increase the last week while getting anything more than a single is rare. He's trying to find a balance between the two approaches.

He’s been sitting 92 with his fastball for two straight starts now and hanging changes left and right.

What exactly did he work on this offseason?  His velocity isn’t good and he seems to have even less confidence in his breaking pitches.
