Chuck picked Benetti.  How do we score that?  Who tells the worst joke?

  • The Sox starters are some of the most ill-prepared to begin a game I've ever seen. And that's a reflection on their useless pitching coach.

WTF are you talking about.   To be fair though, I ask that myself for about 80% of your posts

He caught a foul ball off the net, making it a dead ball, and people are mad that he didn't immediately throw the ball in (again, it was a dead play)

It only holds weight when Ozzie said it lol

100 percent said that

I like Ozzie bit I think he's overstepping his boundaries. Ozzie looking to be back in the dugout

It feels like half the games we lose are lost in the first inning.  Need to change something in how we prepare...maybe 10 more pitches after the starter thinks he's ready.

Ozzie is just saying what everyone is thinking. No reason to beat around the bush with it.

They said in the first game the Sox have given up the most runs 1st inning all of MLB

Nobody's talking about the complete power outage from Grandal.

I hate to say this, but dude was busted for Roids once so you have to wonder a bit.

Today may be your worst posting day in SoxTalk history and that’s really saying something.

You might be right but still

I never thought I would see the day when Soxtalk was upset about Adam Engel not playing.

I can only speak for myself but it’s kinda refreshing to have a guy like Ozzie call it like it is, tired of the Renteria and the pacifier approach

100% must win

On pace for 258 runs scored. Anyone want to change their total?

Mazara was worth the gamble. At least they only wasted 50 games on him rather than 162. He's only been back for a week though, so maybe give him some more time. If Mazara doesn't work it didn't cost much.

I'd definitely like to see a straight platoon of Collins and Encarnacion the rest of the season, even though I'm not a fan of Collins. Make sure that he sucks before moving on.

Still wasn't worth giving up a player for him.

Sure seems like the Sox thought Wainwright would be rusty. That’s not a smart approach.

Give me someone who can throw strikes.

The Rangers tendered Mazara a contract and Walker will be 24 before he plays a game in AA so no big loss.

Nomar Mazara is 15 months older than Steele Walker. I'll take the guy who's shown to at least be meh in the Bigs.

We've been through this before, so I'll just say my last piece remains "we didn't give up a lot" was a phrase we said over and over and over again, and it was true every time until all of a sudden it wasn't, several times in a row. I'll hang up and listen.

Just no plan at the plate

Ozzie won’t be back as analyst at this rate.. This organization does not have much of a tolerance for criticism. See Piercall,  Jimmy And Caray, Harry...Jerry Will probably hire  Chisoxfan Mike instead

I’m just glad the game wasn’t on Fox at the Field of Dreams, total embarrassment

Foster looking very good...but the offense today.....ugghh.

McCann will save the day.

I'm 4 ahead. Drink every time we ground into a double play.
