Let’s make them pay. Nomar is due.

Prime Garciaparra is more what we need.

  • The Sox starters are some of the most ill-prepared to begin a game I've ever seen. And that's a reflection on their useless pitching coach.

WTF are you talking about.   To be fair though, I ask that myself for about 80% of your posts

He caught a foul ball off the net, making it a dead ball, and people are mad that he didn't immediately throw the ball in (again, it was a dead play)

See Robert is a quick learner.  Make him get it up.

Jimmy Edmonds is such a jackass.  A trail of ex-wives and cheating and now he's got something like 7 kids at home trying to blend them into a single household.

YUCK.

WTF are you talking about.

Robert works a walk!  Nice bit of discipline.

Our rookie has the best AB of the game, go figure.

Wainwright wanted no part of Robert.

Ughhhhh

Do we watch any film on the opposing starter?  Make him get the ball up my god.  It's like we play right into the opponent's hand sometimes.  He wants you to swing early and often, take some pitches, make him throw strikes.

They can’t possibly watch film and still look this unprepared/bad right?

keep beating the ball into the dirt guys.

Oh Nomar...

Mazara so good

Gonna go take a nice relaxing shower and come back for the 2nd game maybe, go Sox.

Zero approach.  Zero adjustment.  Pound ball into ground and hope.  UGH.

This is depressing

MaZara has been awesome

Just turned on the game.

What are we going to do?

As usual, getting amazing offensive production on Hahn’s offseason acquisitions

Right now, Anderson's the only one over an 800 OPS.

Moncada close at .790, but we were supposed to be a pretty scary offense when everyone was clicking together.

Once again, continues the trend of not being able to get a clutch hit with RISP, especially with two outs.

Another of the dreaded LHB pulled to 2B highlights.

Nobody knew that.  You play out the play.  I just don't understand how a MLB player holds the ball in that situation.  A little leaguer would have chucked it in faster, regardless of the ruling in real time by the umps, which Eloy could not have known.

Eloy was standing right there and would have heard it.

He can sign what Reinsdorf will allow him to sign.

He gone!

I was honestly trying to attain an 85-90% rate, sorry to disappoint...but this entire game so far has been exactly that, a HUGE/IMMENSE/MASSIVE/COLOSSAL disappointment.

Oh, well.

He went out and got Mazara early in the process. He’s someone they’ve craved forever.

Can someone explain this play Eloy lollygagged on? I just walked in.
